Wherzthebeef:
We dont know what her deal with Helya was for, and it looked like she had her own valkyr. It would be interesting if some of those valkyr survived our raid and found sylvanas much like the ones who served Arthas. I have been wondering about that damn deal since she made it, and we got no payoff.
Helya isn’t exactly out of the picture just yet. We ruined her day certainly, which shattered her spell binding Odyn to the Halls of Valor and took her out of commission for at least the duration of the Legion invasion. But one of the quests you can find doing island expedition leads to this fun piece of dialogue.
Another ring? Hmph. Yes, we have been seeing them more frequently.
<Valdemar grimaces.>
Helya is growing in power.
What, small one, are you surprised? Did you think she was defeated?
<Valdemar laughs heartily.>
You cannot kill death!
I thank you for making me laugh today, little friend.
Odyn has heard about your search for Azerite, we have gathered what we could.
Here, it is yours.
Bottom line? Sylvanas’s deal with Helya, whatever it was, might be still on.
Etheldald:
with the last one killed in darkshore, she only has 3 left.
that means that if she revives, the forsakens would go pretty much extinct, unless she finds something that cure them.
“i smell a fully resurrected sylvanas by some sort of primordial power”.
She has 3 prime but she has lots of lesser valks for rezing of Forsaken just not more powerful undead like herself.
She has 3 left. She went they the other 5 pretty quickly. I’d be worried if I was her.
It’s worth noting that all three Val’kyr in Silverpine gave their lives to resurrect Sylvanas after Godfrey shot her, so it’s possible that killing one more would mean she’s screwed. I doubt this is the case, as their group sacrifice was probably just a way to both build tension and write them as characters out of the plot.

Enough.
More will appear out of nowhere the moment Blizzard thinks she needs more.
I think they will be sacrificed when we fight sylvanas in 8.3
Enough to stop alliance advancement on Zandalar
Apparently not, we advance on zandalar destroy the fleet, slaughter their soldiers and their king and the valkyr are not even there
My Zandalari trolll Druid will be ready for u .
but… you can’t play zandalari until after the raid …
ahm… i am missing something here?
anyway.
lesser valks can ress forsakens? so they can’t go extinct or we just don’t have an exact number purely for convenient reasons?
basically we only need to kill one valkyr more and sylvanas can’t rezz again?

I’m not sure he’ll be able to bear seeing his empire fall.

And if sylvanas dies one more time she will be out of lives and will be a whole lot more cautious.
Who cares . He is past his time .his daughter is stronger then him .
Didn’t really work out too well for Voldemort. Someone would find her eventually.
Eventually maybe, but I can see her losing the rest of her valkyr in 8.3 and dropping off the radar for a while
The problem is:
The two major types of Val’kyr are those created or enslaved by the Lich King and those created by Odyn (Eyir). Both of them Neutral factions that would not involve themselves in a stupid faction war.
The other type of Val’kyr are those who decided to stay in the Shadowlands to aid unfortunate adventures (aka Spirit Healer)
TLDR:
Not enough to make a race, not good reason to join the faction war. Bad idea overall
Odyn already encouraged the factions to fight during Legion. And he has a high stake in ensuring the world is kept safe. Both seem fair reasons to support a faction.
Really? Can you mention when? (not sarcasm, really curious)
Yeah but, why would he send Valkyr over to the Alliance? or to the Horde for that matter?
First of all I doubt Eyir would let any of her Valkyr work for the Horde after what Sylvanas tried to do to her.
Eyir also doesn’t seem to really like interacting with us mortals.
