How many times do i have to report someone name for action to be taken?

this guy name is literally the removed. i’ve been reporting him everytime i’ve seen online for the past month and half and he’s never been renamed or if he has he just picks the same name again. what is this report system?

Is it something you can post here, then edit out, so a CSM mod can look into it?

Don’t do that, it’s unnecessary. Unless it’s changed all it takes is one report for it to get looked at but the more reports the faster it gets before a gm. It is possible the person renamed it to the same name and penalties will escalate if they have.

if thats the case why hasnt there been harder punishments? i noticed this guy in silvermoon almost 2 months ago been reporting everytime i see him on when i log into my bank alt. clearly nothing has been done

Just to explain this: More the reports from DIFFERENT people (unique accounts) counts. One person reporting the same name won’t add in more reports.

Or he’s just trying to convince you of that. I do know they’re leapt on quickly – I had one guy in timewalking this morning with a bad name, and he didn’t get to the second boss before he was logged out and name changed.

ive never talked to him only reported the name b/c its actually a racial slur lol. that why i made this it seems odd. i had a “bad name” on classic era and wasn’t even on for 5 mins and got forced name changed. i just think they don’t care about wotlk classic

Is it the exact same name, or does he change it up with ASCII letters? What level is he?

same name everytime i report, and no, no special char. its just straight removed for two months

Report him once. i would avoid multiple flaggings sooner or later it will catch up to them.
