Once again adding in here that every class Dracthyr can play (other than Evoker, they will still turn into dragons) can remain in the human/elf forms permanently. It will not be like Worgen where combat shifts you into a wolf. You can fight completely in human/elf form.
Or I could just, not. Glide’s neat, don’t really care, though. I’ll live without it.
They’re still scaly in human form, and to tall… much to tall.
Are they actually any taller than humans and elves? I feel like they’re the exact same height. Also, to minimize the scales, you can choose the scale color that blends in with your selected skin tone, as well as turn off many of the scales across the body so they look like natural skin. The only forced scales are on the top of the head and a small bit of the upper forehead, which you can make flesh colored, and hide under the hair.
I understand not wanting to play one regardless, but I’m just letting people know the option is there to minimize the draconic features.

Yes, as a disc priest the visage healing is really attractive for when I have nothing to attack and need to top people up.

Change of plans, I was goblin for mobility and planned to swap to dracthyr for mobility.
But instead I have to go gnome for ansurek progress because I need the root break to alternate with my major defensive to get through P1 on Mythic…
The 1 minute CD Escape Artist racial (which doesn’t share a CD with PvP trinket) is actually lowkey insane sometimes. 1 minute is nothing.
The only thing is, you have to play a Gnome- which doesn’t really feel entirely Priestly. I think the lore is they act like surgical doctors that use the light, but still feels kind of strange lore-wise.

Need to break a root every 45 seconds on mythic ansurek, so still gotta alternate escape artist and dispersion.

I made the swap from VE to Dracthyr. Although, it does suck that forums/warband character screen only show your dragon form and not your visage

Yup. Sad that they couldn’t just give us better mobility. Feels like a cash grab.

Just checking in to say that, after leveling a dracthyr warrior, I couldn’t let go of glide.
I failed this test of will, deposit the egg on my face.
Did the same as the above people. It’s almost odd how the services were on sale about the time you could make the race change swap to dracthyr.
I did it because they’re just prettier in their humanoid form 
I’m probably not changing my Priest from Undead unless I need to but it’s unlikely since it’s no longer my main (I still play it as an alt a little bit).
However I was still wondering… Is dractyr that good for mobility? I get the glide thing but that’s more like consistent speed boost isn’t it?..
What I mean is that I feel Priest struggless more with bursts of movement and knockbacks, so my feeling is that if we are to re-roll for mobility, is it not better to go Goblin for Rocket Jump?
