How many ppl have stopped playing arenas?

I have 1735 arenas played this season, more than i’ve ever had in a single season in my life. In the past whole month though, i’ve only played 60 arenas. Literally went from playing 1600+ games in 3 months to 60 in a month.

The game just doesn’t feel fun anymore after the first few months of season. The same broken specs are still broken, dps healing as much as I do, the playstyle has just gotten worse. Idk, there’s days that I don’t even login anymore, I don’t feel like there’s a reason or motivation at all. Been thinking about unsubbing to not lose more money until 9.1 hits at least.

PvP just feels forgotten.

Anyone else been feeling this way lately?

I feel the opposite, I’m still enjoying arena and most of my friends are too. You sound burnt out so I suggest maybe taking a break.

Yeah, playing 1600 games in a few months will burn you out quickly, haha. Happens to the best of us.

Some weeks I’ll do none, others I’ll do 50+ games. Depends on if people are around.

Sounds like you got burned out, it happens.

I’ve also reduced my arena games. I’m now slowly leveling alts with non-meta covenants till 9.1, in hopes that there will be better catchup mechanics, wod ilvl scaling, etc.

No way I can stomach putting fresh 60 thru the current grind. Too soon

I think people are extremely addicted to WoW and need to figure out a better balance in life :man_shrugging:

1700+ arena games is a lot. ive done about 500+ and can barely stand queing a few games a week for cap.

Ehh not really, i didn’t really play more than 3 hours a day. It’s just that games this season are much faster than they were before so u can get more games in less time. I had way more /played in legion and didn’t even reach 400-500 games a season.

What i meant by this is it feels forgotten by the devs, not the players.

Answering to the others, yea it might be that i got burnt out, but idk it’s weird, ive never felt this demotivated with the game tbh and i’ve had times where i played for 10 hours straight lol.

Arenas are a painful and unpleasant grind.

My hatred for mages and rets is un-ending which makes arenas unplayable now. I get put on tilt just seeing one on the enemy team.

Absolutely disgustingly broken specs.

I’ve stopped queuing rated PvP altogether. Got my 226 on 2 toons, 220 on 2 others, and that’s good enough for me. Just que up random bgs with friends. No stress, no commitment.

Outriders came out. Even tho it’s server stability is in the dumps rn the times I’ve gotten to play it have been super fun.

Might replace wow for me cuz the theorycrafting , talents , mods , builds are super fun

Been leveling classic when outrider servers are down

I’ve checked that out but it doesn’t have a PvP feature, it made me not want to play it altogether, i’m not a huge fan of PVE games :frowning:

I’m normally only a PvP mode game player but that games just so fun I enjoy it.

Like I’ve always been FPS , RTS , Dota , wow arena only never pve etc but this game’s just very satisfying to play and mess around with different builds

Hm, might give it a try then, I really loved the gameplay i saw on youtube but not having pvp kinda throws me off. I’ll think about it tho

its kinda a futuristic fps coop rpg game. You get your character which you choose a class for and level up, follow the storyline and get alt quests too. But it has no pvp, just pve. I haven’t tried it out yet but Ricki says it’s really good so might give it a go. You should look it up on youtube, theres a bunch of gameplays already, it came out a few days ago.

Tried to get back into them, realized most of my friends were on the other faction compared to everything else I do in game, got stuck LFGing, and quit.

I got my Duelist. It’s not worth the stress to go higher, especially with the MMR changes.

If I could actually play with my friends and queue more than a couple times a month, I’d likely be interested. But for now, unranked spam is the only thing that’s even remotely fun because at least I can do it whenever I want.
Might also be interested if anything more than the set/enchant were a thing. Arenas just feel freakishly unrewarding compared to every other aspect of this game.
