How many people dont plan to sub till classic?

I just bought 6 months of game time to ensure that if it’s released soon, i won’t miss it. I’m also going to skip work the day of release - might even take a week or more off of work as well.

Why do you imagine giving them 6 months of money to play BFA is going to make you not miss classic?

I will resub once classic comes out, but just so i can get my first Atiesh before Kithkaid can get his second.

I’ve played enough of BFA to know it’s not for me. I have no reason to resub until Classic launches.

The only reason to resub prior to Classic would be for BfA, which I don’t care to play any more of than I already have.

I’ll be playing other games until Classic drops.

It would be hard to sub for bfa because, afkers are flooding island exp and warfronts or so I’ve been reading about island exp because blizz up the reward in items free gear sounds boring to me.

yah I cancelled my sub until classic comes out. For a long time I kept it up just to support the company because I love blizzard. But as of late I’ve realized I can’t support retail with my sub since I don’t even like playing it at all

Oh?

Betas are (supposed to be server stress tests) often used as a marketing play to promote the game through YouTube content creators.

Why wouldn’t they do that?

There is no WoW, other than Classic WoW at this point (for me). Been unsubbed since MoP and won’t return until Classic. Absolute Zero (–459.67°F) interest in BFA.

Haha that is a good one!

Count me.

I got burned out for good in Legion, and have unsubbed until Classic. If Classic is truly authentic and the sharding is truly temporary, then I’ll resub for Classic.

In the meantime I’ve been playing on vanilla private servers.

Same story here. I’m very much in wait and see mode.

Blizzard will definitely know how many people are playing Classic vs. Retail. They’re just not going to share that information.

Because they already had testing via Blizzcon demo. Both in person and from home. I’m sure they’ve been testing it internally quite intensely as well.
There is no need for a beta. Don’t expect one.

I really don’t put too much thought into planning and strategizing my entertainment spend… its more impulisve “you know I might check out what they have done with BFA”… then I’ll watch a few youtube videos to see how the game is.
I’ll usually think “oh they are still leveraging popular characters into narratives that go against my presuppositions of what that character is”? Nah Ill just go stick to private servers / other franchises.

TL;DR
#bringbackmetzen - the heart and soul of the warcraft franchise was always the horde. The alliance are just generic good guys like any other fantasy IP.

not subbing till classic

its very tempting to try BFA right now. But don’t. It’s truly a mess. As much as I want to get my wow fix right now, Activision doesn’t deserve my money. I leveled to 120 and did the first few raid bosses of Uldir on Horde side, it was heartbreaking. felt like they cannibalized the game

I gotta be honest if they brought Mankrik back into the BFA narrative I would resub.

Because allowing to players to explore two zones in the game helped verify there aren’t bugs elsewhere in the game world. Brilliant!

Except for their tendency to also stipulate “To Participate in the Beta/PTR Test, you must also have had an active WoW subscription on (date X weeks in the past)”

I want the beta, not the stress test.
