I am sure this will vary from class to class and roll to roll but I am truly curious. How many of you enjoy the pvp meta as it is?

Not looking to start a philosophical debate or start arguments. I just want an honest sample size.
I’m having fun, I’m not sure what is meta or not. I don’t feel that any class if over the top or anything. I don’t see the outliers.

Priest/Shadow - No
NOTES: Coming from an SP main for many many years, I really like the VW hero talents. But the melee meta with all the slows, interrupts, and CC is extremely frustrating.
If healers weren’t so tanky, I would be having more fun.
Fury - Yes

Overall, the game has been mostly fun. More fun than DF imo. My biggest gripe is how ridiculous the slows are, maybe Blizzard does something. Or just give emancipation back .
First season bgs is the most enjoyable time to play sham/priest. Basically every class stacks X/Vers, since there’s not enough stat budget to hit a third. So it creates a huge powergap where if you give your haste buff to the class stacking mastery or crit/vers they hit their 1-2 haste breakpoints and do gigachad burst.
First season is always hit or miss for me, not fully blaming haste but playing a melee without any haste just feels terrible when you try and apply any form of gcd based cc during a fight. Whereas playing a class/spec that wants haste, you’re faster than everyone else and it feels great being able to weave your gcd cc between spells.
Season two is typically my favourite for pacing, I rarely enjoy the last season, unless I’m playing a meme like crit/mastery stacked arms/mm in shadowlands
I did actually, although I definitely preferred Disc back then.
I play all classes, most specs.
It’s easier to list what I don’t play:
Healers, Tanks (Exception VDH), SV Hunter, Arcane/Fire Mage, Sub Rogue, Demo Lock.
Current meta sucks.
As always, healers and tanks should be deleted from PvP. /opinion
The most fun gameplay loop atm is honestly just playing Fury and zugzug-ing with CDs.
Or annoying the heck out of the enemy team with a Frost DK.
Not gonna lie, Affy and Demonology are FUN to play, so is destro!
Tbh, the most fun I’ve had in BGs so far this season has been the games with 9 dps and only 1 healer on both teams. Button presses actually feel impactful and things are dying left and right. Absolutely chaotic and I am here for it.
Most unfun games? Deepwind Gorge market fights with 2 discs cross-healing… 5 min fights that go nowhere turn out don’t tickle my fancy. Weird how that works.
EDIT: Frost DK, but it would be nice if it didn’t always get shafted just because UH exists…
i dont think melee is very fun, but ranged seems very fun
im having a blast on myfrost mage, spriest and evoker
Which mode? I’m gonna guess RBGB? It’s the only one I’d speak about, because I’m not paying anything else.
I play DeVoker, Boomie, MM, FrostyK and have for a long time. I’m also playing FrostyM, AssRog, HDH, EleSham, which are mostly new to me. Ret soon, waiting on honor transfer.
RBGB is the best thing added to the game, possibly ever. Love it.

I don’t like a burst and/or PvE AoE meta, especially when not balanced well.
I’d definitely say Prevokers are over the top.
I dont think the meta has changed in 15 years, isnt it still RMP???
Sounds like an easy W to me. Maybe leave mid and cap one of the other 4 nodes that have a grand total of 0 Healers?
