tell me you’ve never done LFR without telling me you’ve never done LFR
I’m frustrated. I accept things being locked to levels of raids I personally am not doing, but I (and a lot of others most likely) were going into this season assuming we could do it in LFR, since everything was pointing towards that.

There’s this thing, where you can look at people’s posts they have made.
See, just a while ago, I was offering to be a raid lead, for a forum group to help people get their mounts.
My offer still stands.
Go try to poke at someone who isn’t going to poke right back.

I mean he isn’t completely wrong. A lot of people just instantly die so they can afk through the fights lol.

I looked up the mount and it’s legitimately one of the ugliest mounts in the game. When people were saying “slime kitty” I was picturing a green goo version of the store fire kitty. Now THAT I would be up in arms about. But this thing is ugly as piss, lol.
So i didnt care anymore after my last post because this whole slime cat mount topic is kind of dumb, and then i read this.
My response?

For me and some others this isn’t about difficulty.
They implied for months that any difficulty would mean any difficulty. Changing it with less than a week before it goes live is ridiculous.
Anyone can try to change the argument, but these are facts. Blizzard is in the wrong. this is not defensible

I’m upset that this wasn’t announce when my core was doing progress on S3, a lot of key players left until DF…it’s not only the fact that Devs are leaving LFR behind but the logistics behind…this kind of changes shouldn’t be 5 days before patch, also any raid achievements that says “Any” includes LFR, if i go to my alts that only cleared 1 LFR wing of any content, I’ll notice the progress on the base raid achievement that requires “any” difficulty.

ptr’s ptr until it releases. if the release doesn’t match the patch notes, then your statement would hold weight.
I guess I have to spell it out. That’s ok.
I do not want such a thing, because I am willing to do/lead normals. I want other people to be able to get it, especially because Blizzard backtracked on things. But most especially, I don’t want anyone to be left out, that wants to get it.
That is what community is about. Blizzard keeps forgetting that.
I think it holds plenty of weight to plenty of people. You don’t change it after months and months at the very last second and expect everything to be sunshine and rainbows

Don’t care tbh. I’m not a mount collector though, so I guess can see why some folks would be upset idk. Only mounts I always wanted I finally got years ago anyways.
I’ll never understand a company that takes from the customer, and gets paid to do it.
… What does me by saying that have anything to do with people wanting to raid lead? I just stated you want to obtain a unique mount in LFR which is the easiest raid content just above world bosses. That’s called a hand out ma’am. Like Normal isn’t hard either, so I see where Blizzard is coming from with this change, just do the raid on normal, and get your mount.
Also its never been about community to Blizzard if they despise us at every turn. Sorry, not sorry, but it had to be said.
They do this a lot with some class changes, case in point DHs Demon Blades in Legion, they changes it to 100% chance, then a week before the patch hit dropped it back to original numbers.

(A few weeks later) Blizz: “Hey, slime cat mount is now only available to norm and above”.
Playerbase: “Hey so…about you guys supposedly “listening to the playerbase”…yea…I guess you lied again?”

I don’t really care. Put it in LFR since it’s there to boost the fated trial. Just annoyed about people upset they only are getting 95% of rewards this xpac and not 100% for world content.
Oh I know what happens and i know they are subject to change but you also risk blowback. Which is what they’re getting
Unlike tuning, There was no need to restrict it like this. There was nothing to be gained and Only good will to be lost
They created an unnecessary PR kerfuffle that they easily could have avoided.
They went out of the way to shoot themselves in the foot

I don’t think the game is very conducive to that any more. With all the grinds required for serious players outside of raid, they don’t really have time for community fun runs. Plus, a lot of the player base has gotten older meaning even less free time due to irl commitments.
Yeah like the blowback right now over this whole ordeal, I don’t see what the big deal is, just do the raid on Normal mode. No pressure, just knock it out and be done with it.
Its like saying the Legendary bow off Sylvanas was only locked to the upper levels of the raid and left LFR out, no one batted an eye, but all of a sudden people have to actually do mechanics in a raid to get a mount and everyone loses their minds
I think it’s pretty scummy whenever someone says they’ll do one thing and then ends up doing something completely different to be honest. It doesn’t matter who does it, if it’s a friend, family member or massive corporation like Blizzard. It’s a rotten thing to do.
