How many of you are angry about the slime cat being locked in normal mode?

I’m not really all that worried nor am I surprised at Blizzards move…

I will. But if we both agree it’s not a big deal why do they need to change it? People were happy, and now they’re upset. why would a company purposely do that?

What was to be gained?

Why would we want to defend that?

It’s probably this. A lot of queued content in general has been languishing pretty badly this expansion, though.

For instance, Timewalking dungeons are dropping ilvl 210 gear, which is ridiculously pathetic and makes it take forever to do the weekly quest.

Well you know according to Bluzzard “They know fun”

The legendary bow was never marked for all raids beforehand, but there were posts about it not being in LFR too. Just not the level of controversy because they never changed the description.

Its like I said, they want players to actually have to work a little bit to earn the reward, that way it feels rewarding, LFR is bare bones mechanics, Normal is … Well, NORMAL. Lol. Imagine if they jsut said, “Ya know what? yall complained about it being locked to normal, so were moving the mount to Heroic and itll be locked to an AOTC achievement.”

Like I said before, its like the Hunter bow, no one batted a single eye about it being left out of LFR, but a mount comes into play and everyone loses their minds about it.

But still, you honestly expect Blizzard to hand out a mount in a mechanic-less LFR (there are mechanics just not a lot.) Just to hand out a unique mount, this isn’t like the anniversay mount. Just be lucky its not AOTC locked

I would agree with you if they hadn’t advertised as any difficulty to begin with.

Baiting and switching people tends to leave a sour taste in their mouth

Heck if they had announced this a month ago it wouldn’t have been as bad.

The issue isn’t the difficulty. It was their advertisement for it. And the abruptness and last second that they yanked it away.

They had months to tell people you had to work at normal or above

There are no differences between LFR and normal mechanics wise. The difference is getting into the raid. LFR queues people in so everyone gets a chance.

Shadowlands was advertised as an outstanding expansion and look where were at?

And nobody complains about shadowlands or blizzards decisions regarding it.

If anything I think people’s outrage are consistent. Blizz messed up (again)

TO be honest if there was going to be a new raid and it was to be put into normal or higher I would fully support the decision but season 4 is pretty much like a primetime tv show in its rerun season prior to the next one coming out.

We are doing reruns so why not make the mount in all difficulties including lfr.

I’m frustrated about it but running a normal raid doesn’t feel impossible. I’m just stressed because it’s just one more thing added behind raid-locked content in a game that is dwindling.

This is my issue as well. Changing things that don’t need changing seems to be Blizzard’s signature behavior, unfortunately.

Normal isn’t impossible at all, why stress about it? consider Season 4 Off-Season until Dragonflight, we’re just having fun now, though lets be honest, it shouldnt have taken 2.5 years and 2 patch cycles to get there

Thing is the raids are listed as any difficulty in the actual live game.

Open up the cheevo tab , type in fated . Click on the one that says fated .

Once it comes up click on the name of each fated raid and they all say any difficulty.

And then they came out with a blue post saying sorry Charlie we changed our minds.

Hence the push back

… Getting a blue post out of them is like asking them where GM Island is.

I know I’m pushing back
