Both quests are still bugged and have a phasing issue.

I cant play, nor will I pay another cent until a solution is found.

A solution is to ensure you don’t have any steps of the Xal’atath quest chain in your quest log. You will either want to abandon it or finish it. That was the solution that fixed it for me & several others.

Phasing appears to be broken for both of these quests. When entering the Atal’Gral area, you can see the highlighted quest area and item objectives on the mini map, but when actually enter the phased area, the mobs disappear/change and the item objectives disappear. Killing the new mobs also does not drop the Chunk of Naga Flesh. Dropping and retaking the quest, re-loading the UI and re-logging do not resolve the issue.

A couple people chimed in that they weren’t on the quest chain, so either they didn’t understand or they might of had another quest-phasing issue. All I know is, once my quest log was clear, the phasing issue was gone.

The solution should be to de-conflict the issue, but until then I hope this suggestion might help you out. Cheers.
