How Many Masks Week One?

I got 3 down so far: Imagination, Pained and Vengeance. I think you can grab the Nemesis mask which I will also rock, which may enable me to get Long Night down after thanks to the extra Sanity gain?

Multitudes is ROUGH. It’s like six times the amount of mobs, and most have True Sight so sneaking is a much less viable option. Not sure if I will push that one right now.

I also switched from MM to BM purely because I need a tank. I’m taking way too much damage to face tank as MM and a 22 second interrupt just isn’t going to cut it.

How’s your progress going so far?

I haven’t figured out how to get a mask

Coursera has a few 16 week courses that will walk you through it

can do 4 masks so far.

the 50% sanity cut one is just not doable. i think i have a friend that runs a rogue and managed to get to the last boss with 5 masks but just ran out right before it .

First one, Long Night, should be for a full completion of a Vision, so all the bosses down and then Alleria down without losing all Sanity!

Pained and Imagination are for downing Shaw and Magister w/ one mask, Vengeance is to the eastern gate to Trade, and Multitudes is for killing a lot/all mobs. I could’ve sworn I left a few mobs standing.

Nemesis has you killing Hogger in Mage District? I haven’t done that, I’m going to investigate that when I can.

Yeah I’m gonna say to do that one, you’re going to need all of the sanity loss reduction perks, plus the one that gives you extra sanity when killing an elite.

If Nemesis is available, the extra elite should grant sanity. Between that and good potion placements it could be possible? Rough, but possible?

That’d mean a toss up between Long Night and Multitudes, and I’ll easily say those are the two worst, by far. Multitudes more so, directly, as ten mobs tend to swarm you at any one time.

I did 3 mask and then didn’t really bother with 4

I’m not a super mobile class so I time out in 5s

I’m gunna go for a 7 next week though and just have everything but long night up

What do you get for the different mask completions? I read a few guides on how to play it, but, for the life of me, I haven’t stumbled on what you get out of doing all of them (or even some of them).

Passively, you get higher ilvls for gear, up to Hero track, and crests up to repeatable Gilded. You also get more Memento Bux, handy because the mount is going to cost a cool 40k.

5 Mask grants a mount, solo grants a title. 8 Mask solo grants another title, but that’s going to be a real mean one to get.

I have 4. I can’t do the one with the full clear with 1 mask yet. The one where you have to kill everything and anything.

That one seems bugged, or at least a bit inconsistent?

I know I killed a lot of the mobs, but I thought I left at least maybe one or two of the corrupted puddle things standing. Maybe it only counts the proper mobs?

Either way, that one I certainly wouldn’t recommend doing right now. It is terrifying, especially with Vengeance.

Ive been trying to do it on a steamdeck… i dont know how that one guy got to glad playing on a control its so alien

Super quick and easy. Go grab it!

I just can’t figure out how to get the 5th one. Supposedly you have to do a full clear with 1 mask and kill everything… but apparently I can’t find “everything”. Unsure if that includes the beast in the water, the neutral gnome guy, etc.

Oh ok, im supposed to believe someone plays a rogue for fun, now? I dont think so.

Idk if you ever did Old Gods Ritual story in Skittering Breach but the density feels roughly similar.

But yeah it’s a lot lol.

Takes practice, I hit KSH in SL using a controller. It was a lovely experience.

Can only do 4 masks so far. I got through 3 areas on 5 but I couldn’t do the last one and alleria so rip

okay hear me out. i have a rogue alt. and hes horribly undergeared okay ? but see when i have a terriible day at work. ill come back turn on wow. get on my terribly geared rogue. and queue for a battleground with a flag capture node game mode.

like arathi basin. and ill go and sap people guarding the flags for fun. wait till they use their badge and then sap em again or blind em. the game is just capping flags and keep doing it until you become such a nuisance they have to bring more people to the node. you never fight you never combat you just sap and blind people.

its fun you lose if you go into combat.

I just can’t beat alleria yet in that. just got her down to like 10%, but her moves are hard to dodge.
