How many hours to go from 1-85 with Joyous Journey (50% experience boost)?

Depends on a few factors.

Just a normal regular play

There’s no way to tell how fast someone can level. It could take a couple days, it could take a couple weeks.

I will elaborate here:

You said just normal regular play, but there’s several questions to look at:

  1. How many hours per day are you playing?
  2. Are you using hierloom gear?
  3. What class/role are you playing?
  4. Are you using Dungeon Finder every chance you get?
  5. Will you have downtime during your leveling? (i.e. going afk to use the restroom, skinning, herbing, etc.)
  6. What’s your strategy? Are you grinding, questing, etc.?
  7. Are you playing on a PvP or PvE realm?
  8. What’s your class’ rotation?
  9. Do you have gold to fund this character, or will you need to farm along the way?
  10. Are you following a guide, or are you just going about it yourself?

These are just some of the questions that make it near impossible to tell how fast you could level from 1-85.

exactly 69 hours leveling in dungeon and 420 hours killing boars outside Stormwind.

Don’t you only get 232 greens as a boost? Pretty undertuned gear.

But I can do that run without even getting hit.

I leveled Drinknblink in wotlk doing it on normal than got to do it again getting her 80-85 in cata doing heroic lmao

I leveled a warrior, as arms, from 1 to 85 in about 34 hours total. I am terrible at leveling and always have been. I would suspect someone who’s really good at leveling can probably do it in 17-21hrs, maybe even less.

It will vary based on:

how lively rdf is, I get some nights on a low leveler its more questing nights.

for the past week or so…how motivated are you to pack up and start your day in a city, for the halloween events. Among them the wickerman xp boost.

Are you alliance or horde for the run. Wrath leveling if alliance is shorter. they win WG 99% of the time for the zone bonus. The 1% I’ve seen is on Saturday when a grobb premade floods it. Horde wins that one. They get the bonus for 3 hours. And then its gone.

A tank or healer could live in rdf.

Solo, questing only. No dungeons. No boost.
Much longer.
