Yes, I realize that, but I understand civility as a rule. So, if it gets very nasty either way, and people make threats, that’s the only time I can see it valuable to flag.
Twitter is a free speech platform, that means you get to see all the good and bad.
I’m not going to get in a poo flinging contest with somebody that has chosen a side and just wants to “win”. Go on twitter, there’s nothing being censored. Both sides can say what they want, but if you don’t like that, I can see why some would leave.
So why is lbtq content removed cause elon simply doesn’t like it? Doesn’t sound free speech to me.
Censorship free unless I disagree!
Anyway back to around here. People make a thread that looks ok then about 30 posts in thier true intentions pop up and thread derails.
Oh and the late night hate threads popping up are interesting. They stay up all night and people in them say some of the most vile stuff screaming free speech / no censorship.
I mostly come here to laugh at the wild takes or the late night against ToS threads reporting actively lowers the amount of things I get to laugh at so I rarely bother doing it.
Idk what you’re talking about. Recruit for what. I think that’s kind of paranoid. Just because I may think differently doesnt’ mean I’m an enemy, or I have an agenda.
I flag people who attack others just to be mean. If you can’t be kind, or at least present your argument without personal attacks, then you’re probably breaking the CoC.
I also report plenty of folks in game as well seeing all the folks who show up in CS forums whining they get banned for saying toxic stuff in game.
The community may suck but I’ll do my best to take out the trash when I see it.
Remember occupy wall street? People were coming together like never before. I was at one of the protests in NYC, there were so many people it was crazy, and the energy was good. Nothing werid. There was babies and people of all kinds of culture.
It spooked the elites
So now we’re pitted against eachother. I don’t care what somebody is, but I do judge based on character no matter what somebody is. I have a few gay people at work who I’m friendly with. I have a lesbian boss who is very sweet to me. We make it work and in our private lives we probably think very differently, but America is about diversity.
I think some of it was just pushed too far and that’s why there’s a rebound effect.
