My knowledge of 40k is zero, but i didnt say edgy writing is by default bad, just that it seems they really wanted some edge and cool factor in tbc, and that had some repercussion.
Just like DF focusing too much on making ammends in several factions made people feel it was too much.
Yeah probably but still feel it was off for Kaelāthas to join the Legion. If he had become bad through anything else other than who helped poison the well, it could work, if they worked into that. It just was so sudden and just didnāt make sense.
I donāt have a problem with the need for survival and not finding a real solution driving him insane but it could have been done better.

Or they could have went in a completely different, and better direction that wouldnāt have completely assassinated his character.
