20 solo runs in, not a sniff of the mount. How many did it take for you before it dropped (or are you still trying)?
FYI, the prepatch rate is now 1% instead of .02% - so anyone who can solo this at 70 (pretty easy for me as a non-raider feral druid, I’m wearing only stuff I got solo or from 5 mans and quests) should be able to get with some persistence.
Yeah, I’m never, ever farming that mount
It’s not retail wow where everything drops quickly, 1% is still rare… it’s still more rare than zg mounts.
Well keep watching these videos if you want to stay demotivated and eventually quit WoW.
These are my 2 friends drops.
Took me 71 since prepatch for it. Look at it more like a gold farm in lieu of dailies. Was making 200+ an hour only killing/looting mobs I failed at skipping and bosses.
Give me some tips I want to give it a try, feral DPS or tank?
All you have to do is walk past all the mobs, dodge the patrolling gargs, and kil the ziggurat bosses, then abombs to baron, takes about 15-20 mins, anyone can do it
I’ve run it twice per day since pre-patch, so I guess about 25 times. I think it took me about 50-75 runs on my retail account back in Wrath. I’ll get it eventually.
I’ve made two runs with my warlock so far. I plan to keep trying, at least until launch or until it drops. I’ve been playing this game a long time and have never got this mount so I am determined this time even though these 3-4 hour queues to get into game are soul crushing.
I got the ZG tiger pre- pre patch solo after 17 runs…then have been on many more than that trying to help others with no more drop…is it the same drop rate?
