Just 5. But I am not worrying about gearing or torgast for them at the moment.
1, this expansion, as much as I’ve liked elements of it, has given me the least incentive to level an alt ever.
Just one main for now, but I intend to have as much as I can fathom on my alts list. 3 more are guaranteed to see the covenants campaigns. The others will probably just be idle and be used to farm BFA raids

I have 4, but only have time for 1-2 mains. The other 2 are stuck at the pvp/renown/initial torghast gearing phase and the tedium of it - particularly - has turned me off my alts for a little while
4, and likely to be 5 once I decide where I want to put my mage.
If I weren’t so obsessed with not repeating character classes I already have, I might bite the bullet and create a KT Warrior, because the melee unfriendliness of SL means a short melee char often gets lost.

First was a priest fell for the pre-patch hype and rolled it. once I started gearing I I didn’t enjoy it as much as I thought. for off specs hated disc and Holy is fun but very under powered
Then rolled a Resto Shammy. I liked it at first but to play optimally required way to many key binds. and didn’t like Elemental. the second the tank moves a pack in dungeons away from my earthquake. my dmg would be gutted.
Now I’m on this Druid. Finally feel at home. 205ilvl and getting close to KSM. In my downtime been playing Resto and having a blast with the HoT play style. My new main
My next alt will be a Blood DK for tanking, or a Sub Rogue for PvP. Haven’t decided yet.

as of right now only two, this one and my Dk main. next up are two level 53s and then 23 level 51s
similarly to legion and bfa, my alt army will level up in earnest when flying and other alt-amenities get implemented

I probably spend more time browsing the forums than playing now. lol
None didn’t buy SL and not buying it have 29 lvl 50’s tho. Hubby just cancelled his account. I took off both his mines account our payment methods. Once my gold is gone I’m gone for good. Sad first time since 2008 never brought a Xpac. This game was amazing once not anymore it’s just a time sink for Blizzard to bleed people of their money.

Just 2…this one, and horde panda hunter [and if honest, I probably wouldn’t have gotten to her if not for a couple other forum friends wanting something to do]. Probably be awhile before I get to the rest.
5 on alliance, 3 on Horde (that mostly collect dust)

Currently I only have one Level 60 character in-game. However, There is a lot of Level 50s that I intend on leveling to 60 in the future. 
6 Will be more after we unlock flying in Oct.
Two. The rest are waiting at 51 until flying is available.
I am on Same boat. I have 5 and I would jave more if there was a maw skip
