I’ve been playing since 2005 with a couple breaks totaling about a year between then and now.

With breaks scattered between… I’ve been playing since Icecrown Citadel (on a now-defunct character).
Since release with multiple breaks.
2005 here. I’ve taken several breaks though. I always return!

Long enough my hair is white now, I don’t know if it’s aging or I’m wow out.

2005 without breaks— until now. I’ll be breaking after February when my sub is up.

I start playing December 2008, so 15 years.
I started playing towards the end of Vanilla but made a character when Burning Crusade released.

2006 (Pre-TBC) -2009(TOGC), 2010(Cata Launch), 2021(Pre-TBC) - Current
2004 (Vanilla Nov release) - 2023, with often yearly breaks to play other new releases (am a gamer), started playing in elementary school, went through middle school and high school with friends that all played.
Although, I stopped playing retail as a ‘hardcore’ player since around 2015. All I do now in retail is level alts and collect, but I’ve been playing less and less.
Right now is probably the least I’ve been playing retail, due to dwindling numbers in the PvP scene. I hate arenas, love battlegrounds, but those don’t get attention.
Tbh, I’m waiting for the next big MMO. I’ve played most of the mainstream ones and will always give them at least a year to play. Loved FF14, loved Swtor, loved SWG, loved RIFT, loved WildStar, etc.
There was something in each of these games the others didn’t have.
WoW has the snappiest/most fluid combat.

Day 2. I spent the entire day 1 installing the game on like 3-4 Discs.

Started near the end of Warlords around 2015. I haven’t really taken a break, but I also don’t play nearly as often or as long as other people do.
