I’ve been finding cleared invasion spots, but I’m wondering when do they respawn? I’d like to do some Necrotic content and have an idea of when certain areas are back again.
Anyone have a good idea on the time range?
Pretty sure they’re bugged and not spawning at all.
Eastern Kingdoms points are respawning quickly
Kalimdor points appear to be bugged and aren’t respawning, at least for a very long time
I was in Azshara and the invasion seemed to respawn within like 5 minutes of all the spots/crystals having been cleared.
To get a full respawn of the invasion in a zone you need to kill mobs in every location that contains a crystal until it reaches 0 health and the NPCs for the Shadows of Doom appear. Then you need to summon and kill Shadows of Doom until the crystal is “dead” and disappears. Once ALL crystals have been defeated in a zone, the invasion should respawn at some point in the near future.
There is possibly a spot with a crystal that hasn’t been cleared and that is why it isn’t respawning? Could also just be bugged for some servers and/or layers - who knows with this spaghetti code

I’ve had a crystal respawn instantly 3 times in the Burning Steppes after killing the shadows of doom. Something is off with the invasions but at least it can be completed in areas.
Also if you have trouble finding the active sites, look for the necropolis and the black spells shooting from it leads to the sites. If there is no necropolis, something might be wrong in the zone.
