How long do Draenei live?

Was just thinking about the broken on Argus, and how they’ve been there since before the legion came. Which made me think, how old are they?

And how old are draenei in general? Velen (Valen?) is hinted at being thousands of years old, so how long are their lifespans?

Do they live longer than elves?

Lightforged Draenei are immortal, normal Draenei live tens of thousands of years.

Well, yes, immortal in the sense of dying due to age.

Draenei aren’t adults til they’re 5000.

We might be playing teenager Draenei all this time

About as long as it takes for me to find them and gut them. The squids on their face makes for excellent calamari

… yeah I’m ok with this.

DK Draenei are said to remember living on Argus, so we’re looking at 25k+ years old.

Undead are immortal.

I can’t FATHOM remembering everything for 25k years. No wonder Velen forgot about his son for a hot minute ( or century )

I’ve always thought Velen was pushing 100k. Mostly because there’s other draenei that remember Argus, and they don’t look anywhere near as old as velen does

There is other methods of remembering a place besides being a live during that time tbh. Think of the Martian mind meld from the super-man series for example. It’s possible they are a species that are capable of sharing memories.

I think there is a species that does the same thing in Star-trek.

We mature between 25-30 and live for a very long time 13000 years+. Some are immortal.

(Has plenty of citations for age of maturity, maximum age isn’t determined).

I know dude but just IMAGINE.

Old Draenei must be mega bored after all that time

Weird I was using this

Maybe. I don’t know. I imagine there is a type of peace knowing you will live for a long period of time. So many earthly problems is due to our fear of death. And necessity is the mother of all invention I imagine living that period of time they managed to come up with some very fun ways to occupy themselves.

It uses a single source for the 25000.

The author used the number 25000 and made the rest up. As said by her in the article. Not sure if WoD was out then.

(I used the wrong character to respond reeee)
