There should not be a number on how long someone needs to grieve. Then when people express that we get players, like yourself, that just tells them time to move on.
People should be able to talk about both iterations of SV without ridicule from others.
I donāt believe you. You have not demonstrated that you play a Hunter, nor have you expressed the understanding about the Hunter class one would have from playing it.
You are willing to change your avatar character and even account with the intent of being deceitful, claiming that you were a different person, yet you refuse to do the exact same thing to demonstrate that you play Hunter. That is what we call dishonesty.
The common ground has already been found. It is a fourth spec for ranged Survival. That way we can have back ranged SV and melee SV can return to being purely melee. Win win.
But others here donāt want to stand upon this common ground, and rather spend time deriding anyone who does, while harping, without justification, that this common ground will never ever be achieved.
And people do. Hunters had expressed for more than 4 years that we wanted Eyes of the Beast to come back, and now it is coming back. Survival wasnāt just a single ability like Eyes of the Beast. It was a whole spec. Not only is it reasonable for there to still be feedback about bringing it back, but it would be unreasonable to think there shouldnāt be.
Darkeforge made this argument just days ago. I linked him something like 7 different topics with replies from the past 20 days, all about current SV. None that had āturned into MSV vs. RSVā.
While itās nice to see that there are others who are passionate about the old RSV, or just generally liked it, I would want nothing more than to be able to leave this debate on the forums and instead log into the game to once more enjoy the gameplay tied to the spec we once had.
My goal is simple, to do whatever I can to get that spec/playstyle back so I can once again enjoy this game as much as I used to. Because, like has been said multiple times before, āthe class you play is the lens through which you get to experience the gameā.
This in the modern game, applies specifically towards the individual specs we have access to. Not just the class in general.
