I have been sharing this for well over a decade and I still get questions as to how I return flags so quickly. Even in 2600+ mmr rated battlegrounds. I often get accused for some shady clicking business. However anyone can do this and it will also help you for clicking warlock portals, clicking nodes while mining or your lure while fishing etc. Thanks to Dragonflight’s interaction changes, it has gotten even better.

Open the options interface and type “interact” into the search bar

Under the Controls subheading check the Enable Interact Key to be enabled

Under the Keybinds subheading bind the primary keybind to mouse scroll wheel up and the secondary keybind to mouse scroll wheel down

Rebind Camera Zoom In to like Alt+Scroll Wheel Up and Zoom Out to Alt+Scroll Wheel down
As the flag carrier is dying, spam your scrollwheel up and down while moving your mouse around where it should drop in front of your character and you will quickly return the flag much faster than anyone whom is relying on their mouse click to return it.
