How hard is mythic raiding?

Why are you so hellbent on a label anyway? If someone wants to not do the bare minimum to be successful thats not casual, thats someone who doesnt want to put in the effort. “Casual” is thrown around so much and is completed a loaded term, entirely because people like you have decided to try to define what they are or should be expected to do.

I’ve gotten two CE’s on a 1 night a week 4 hour schedule. Definitely possible, but very very tough and not guaranteed. From a time perspective, 2 nights a week is more feasible to be casually pushing for CE. 3 nights a week (assuming you’re skilled enough to get it) is typically what most guilds do, though this starts trending towards more hardcore progression.

If by casual you mean pugging? Don’t expect to get anything past the first couple of bosses. Anything past the first 3 will be really rough.

I haven’t raided since first tier heroic of Cata and came back for SL to gauge whether I was cut out for mythic raiding or not. So far I don’t think it has been hard at all as far speaking for myself on the first four bosses in CN. I can always improve DPS but mechanics wise isn’t an issue for the most part. I’ve heard some of the later fights such as Sludgefist and SLG were more troublesome so I will be prepared for the ramp up in difficulty.

Those that play together, win together.

Mythic raiding is more mechanic heavy and requires you to have a higher understanding of your spec, if you’re really good at your class and you’re able to pump out solid damage or heals then all you’d have to worry about is learning new mechanics.

It’s not that mythic is ‘hard’ it’s just that it requires a bit more knowledge. That and also relying on the 19 other people in your group lol.

But I’d say everyone, even casuals are capable to do mythic raiding. It’s all about refinement.
