Also want to know thoughts on elem pvp in cata. Do we still have the hardest-hitting caster burst?
I built my pvp set around the frost emblem trinket (strongest on-use spell power trinket in wrath). Setting up the wombo combo never gets old.
For those who don’t know:
Have flame shock dot up, pop trinket + orc racial, lightning bolt, instant lava burst, chain lightning, frost shock

isnt the passive hit a bit meme tho?
If it is your only piece of gear with hit rating it works out good. Slightly over pvp hit cap to account for enemy -hit% talents

Theyre ok. Not nearly as good as now. They do strong damage but Cata is not as much of a burst game and the constant pressure and CC of an aff lock or fire mage is far superior. They are really simple to play and super strong in PVE though.
