How Fast is AV Leveling?

From 70-80. Is it really that quick?

with a win on its holiday weekend, yes it’s super fast.

Just have to hope your team has less bots than the other team.

Slower than questing, but for how effortless it is it is pretty good. But only if you win at least 50% of the time. Which horde only win 20%.

Its fast if you knkw when to bail. If horde try to slow down the exp rate then exit the match. It is way way way faster to take the 15 min debuff than it is to waste time in a horde forced turtle. Just leave and go grind or quest during your wait and enjoy the fact that they just slowed themselves down. You will be in a new game and not have to worry about those same foolish players because they will still be in the other match.

On AV weekend (this weekend) it is unquestionably faster than questing. Maybe it is slower than some sort of boosting or cheese leveling, but i would otherwise state that AV weekend + questing while in queue is the fastest possible way to level right now.

Heirlooms work in there, and the 50% xp buff will also work. This is on top of a win giving something like 10% of your level as a base line… so you can expect massive chunks of XP from AV… Losses still give quite a bit as well. Also, note that it is a flat % of XP so it doesn’t slow down as you level up, it actually gives even larger chunks of XP.

dont be misled. AV is so good for leveling that it makes me want to not level outside of AV weekend. plus you hit 80 with honor cap and likely can purchase numerous of the honor mounts or 70 brutal gear along the way due to over capping.

I think on a non AV weekend it’s probably slower, but the effort to reward ratio is much higher lol.

Its slower than good questing with heirlooms and epic flying.

Definitely far easier and still quite fast, but if you aren’t an awful leveling class like rogue it will probably be 10-30% slower depending on winrate and game length.

I was able to level in an hour and fifteen minutes per level questing w/ epic flying from 70-77 or so before it went up 15-20 minutes. I doubt it’s faster than that unless you’re lucky and win every time instantly. My guess would be over 2 hours a level on average.

AV weekend with heirlooms and Joyous will get you 71-80 in one day, Mind you play 10 hours cooking, laptop on the toilet while playing ETC.

lots of honor and xp on av weekends!

Based on my observations from the last time we had it, Alliance generally win about 80% of the rounds …

So for you? It’ll be fairly quick. On average I got about 6 bars with heirlooms for a win and about 3-4 for a loss.

With JJ I’m guessing we can tack on a couple extra bars to that (give or take).

Depends on if your horde or alliance. Horde if you’re lucky you’ll cap 4 towers. On a normal day, that’s about a bubble give or take a bit.

It’s going to be around 1.3 million to 2 million XP per hour

With JJ and looms it’s going to be absolutely insane

Pro tip for horde: winning is by far the most XP, and the only way to win is turtling, so get a group ready and go backcap some towers

so far it is a lvl every 2 hours or so… probably faster on alliance.

I wish both sides would stop playing D just for this weekend… just rush to the end cap towers and win/lose in 10 mins

Thats not been my experience at all, but maybe you quest faster than me or play horde. Its pretty obviously the fastest leveling to me, especially in the later levels where AVs % based xp keeps ripping. Also, it operates independent of rest, and as a pvper, its clearly substantially more time efficient since i hit 80 with 75k honor.

You mean if horde try to win?
