When Classic was released, it was almost 15 years after the original released. Pretty close for TBC Classic as well. Two years after WotLK Classic, it will be coming up to 15 years since Cata release, so there may be that Classic as well. My question to you guys is, how far are you willing to play Classic?
Will you stop at TBC?
Will you stop at WotLK?
Will you stop at Cata?
Where will YOU stop playing Classic?
I think for me, I will stop at MoP Classic, which if Blizzard holds to the release scheduling, will be in 2027.
Estimated Release Years for Classic
Classic - 2019
TBC Classic - 2021
WotLK Classic - 2023
Cata Classic - 2025
MoP Classic - 2027
WoD Classic - 2029
Legion Classic - 2031
BfA Classic - 2033
Shadowlands Classic - 2035

Classic is stopping after Wrath. No one wants Cataclysm Classic

I think when people are faced with the choice between Cata Classic, staying with WotLK Classic, or playing retail’s newest fiasco, many would prefer Cata…but I do think WotLK Classic will have a longer staying power than TBC Classic or Vanilla Classic.

I’d play MOP classic. Best class design in the games life.

Who in their right mind would want Cata again? It stops at Wotlk, or go play retail.

I would be onboard to play through WotLK. Beyond that, there’s no appeal to me.
I just rolled a couple of toons last night, just to see if my nostalgia vision was altering my memory. I’ll be damned if I didn’t have a blast, and the few quests I ran were just plain fun.
As the saying goes “better late than never” I’m looking forward to leveling up through The scorching hellscape of Hellfire Peninsula, through the frozen mountains and valleys of Icecrown.
See you all there!

The only Classic expansion after WOTLK I would want to play is Legion.

I’d rather be playing Cata or MoP again than BFA or Shadowlands.

I will play TBC perpetually from now on. I cant face retail. I never really cared for classic. Tbc was the sweet spot in wow for me.

For me i stop at classic no expansion for me. Not a fan of the boosts, Store mounts toys and eventual tokens to classic (whatever expansion). Goodluck to those who are continuing

At least we have 3, and hopefully with Wrath, 4 versions of WOW to chose from. Something for everyone!

I hope they stop after Wotlk. Not That I do not like my passive 80% Block War tank in Cata. It just feels like they are dividing the population across so many expansions.

I do. Just so that they can then go on to Pandaria. Or better yet, skip Cata and go straight to Pandaria from Wrath

I do. Cataclysm was a really great expansion until DS.
And that’s when I’d stop cus MoP was garbage.

Wrath for me, but I would stop with BC if they announce LFD is in wrath at launch.

Stopping at Wrath Of The Lich King.

Definitely would play wrath, I’d probably skip Cata. I would come back for MoP though which has so far been my favorite post Cata expansion and i didn’t really raid in it.
I’m more interested in Wrath than TBC tbh.
