How Does the Vault Reward Work?

There are three brackets that provide rewards, but it seems I am only to choose one. Am I correct in assuming the purpose of this is simply give the player the opportunity to earn different rewards to choose from, instead of just getting one random item?

Also, what is the reason for making the reward the lowest key of the top four that I did?

Yes I believe that is the intention.

Sorry to say, there are no developers that come here that could answer your question. You can try @WarcraftDevs on twitter if are looking for a dev response.

What reward choices you have is based on what you did the previous week. Game information isn’t really something that Customer support can help you with. I’d recommend talking to your fellow players but there are also guides out there.

Also, your rewards are held there until collected – they do not expire or get replaced by newer weeks.

So, always make sure to collect your reward every week.

Edited to add:

Example for clarity: You will not see this week’s rewards if you did not claim a previous week. Once all previous weeks are claimed, you will see the most current week for which you are eligible.

Well the reasoning isn’t all that big a deal, but I was just naturally curious about why I would be getting for the lowest level or any content I did, instead of the highest. I’ll probably just google that or something. Thanks.

Also thanks for the info Raven and Kyzera.

Well if it (Mythic rewards row) is based on the highest content you did, you can just run 3 M+2 and 1 M+15 to have a high ilvl Mythic+ reward.

One question though. And this is not covered by wowhead in the article but was stated by Ion durring the 2019 blizzcon QnA. That the vault would favor items if you did a particular dungeon repeatedly e.g. did 10 runs of dos only then you would see higher chances of loot from that dungeon in the vault. Did this actually make it to live or something said that mever happened?

That would be something a developer could answer, and Vrakthris isn’t one. Try asking @WarcraftDevs on Twitter.
