How does purchasing WoW work on multiple accounts?

I have 2 accounts on my battle.net, I’d like to buy digital deluxe version and use it to get a character boost. Will that work? It is detecting I already have the normal version, so is it assuming I want this for my main account or will it give me the option to put it on my 2nd for the full benefits? The 2nd account is just a starter edition at the moment.

As long as the account being upgraded has never been upgraded to BfA (any version), then it should still qualify for the 110 boost. The 110 boost is indeed battle.net-wide. That means that it can be used on any WoW account under the same battle.net.

So to be clear, upgrading a WoW account from BfA to BfA deluxe does not give you a second free 110 boost. But an account that’s never been upgraded to BfA, will indeed get a battle.net wide 110 boost.

Also, the in-game pets and mounts that come with deluxe will be battle.net wide.

I hope that helps!

Awesome thank you but before I purchase I need to know: I am not trying to upgrade my BfA account to deluxe. I want my 2nd account on the same battle.net to receive it, so does the purchase come in the form of a code I can apply or is it going to automatically add it to my main account? Thanks

It automatically updates your account for you.

That is, unless you purchase it using the Gift option.

If you are looking at the $20 digital deluxe purchase, that will only work on your account that already has BfA. It’s just the additional items, not the expansion.

If you want to upgrade your other account, you’ll need to purchase the expansion for $39.99 (on sale).

Fixed price for upgrading account since I saw you said it was still a starter edition.
If you’ve never had game time or anything on the starter you’ll need the complete collection for $39.99, also on sale.
