How does mage boosting work? I got 41 dru alt that I'm too lazy to level

At this point, open world is dead. I got 1 level last night my on druid alt in Stranglethorn Vale, so that’s like…an hour and half or so of playing last night and I saw 3 people. Maybe 4.

i’ve never used mage boosting services ingame before.
Could someone share the experience? Like, how long it takes, how much it costs and so on.
Pay before or after? scam artists techniques? What to avoid?

Im thinking mage dungeon boosting till level 58-60 and do OL myself ofc. I actually like OL leveling, as at least as a cat I can get weapon that affects my damage output.

how much exp does 1 run make? 20g seems steep if its only like 1-2 bars.

2 runs per lvl and I did most of my toons in 2/3days per class

You might consider researching your class and spec a lil. Wow leveling is broken up into bracket every 10 levels, find what gear is bis for your playstyle and target loot that will optimize your kill/refresh time, keep gear chanted and use buffs like scrolls and food. As a druid your class is top ranked for ease of leveling solo and pretty much every spec. Paying 20 g a run is fine but you will get more exp and loot if you get a group, I fully support boosting, but its not cost efficient by any means, honestly it boils down to if you want to afk or not cause my opinion is that it would be smarter to buy a tank or healer at lvl for harder quest areas or dungeons.

At your level you’ll want to do mara till at least 45 but really 47 is better then switch to starth.
25 per mara and takes 15 minutes a run and gives alot of exp like 1/2 a level or more.

Pay up front most boosters won’t scam because it’s easy enough to say so and so didn’t boost and not get clients. Plus they are making enough gold it actually slows them down to not fill group and just do 5 runs.

What about lower levels boosts? Is there a site that lists what I should be paying?

I think stocks is like 5g a run but I could be wrong in that. I was selling 9g runs for Armory/cath with no boss loot and that seemed pretty normal. Then Mara runs for 20g and strath runs for 15g.

Stocks 15-30 3-5g a run ffa
Sm 25-40 15g for armory/cath (1 reset) ffa
Mara 30-47 25g for a 300 mob pull 20 for smaller(most change at 45 but exp per gold seems better here imo) ffa
Strath 45-60 15g a run they loot
Sp 58-65 30g a run they loot
Sl 65-70 55g a run they loot

This should give you a break down of what to expect

I wonder if horde do mara/sm cheaper since it’s easier for them to get to because both those seem low to me.

Perhaps. I am not 100% sure on Mara as I never boosted those, but my server was doing 9g SM runs a few months ago. Have been boosting Strat since then so not sure if it’s changed.

Edit to add: it’s also worth noting my server is nearly twice the size of yours, so increased boosters means more competition and generally lower prices.
