Knowing that your Raid Gear that you spent thousands of gold on in GDKP’s that you absolutely farmed fair and legitimately will soon be 5g vendor trash?

I have played enough WoW expansions. Used to it.
Gear you get at the end of the expansion is replaced quickly. If this is new well welcome to WoW. Has nothing to do with GDKP’s.

I feel great because I’m still going to have a nice stash of gold for Wrath and I can rest easy knowing that I’ve never purchased gold either. I also sleep good knowing that somewhere out there there’s neckbeards complaining about gear that they’re too poor to afford without RMTing so they project that onto everybody else
Oh no its the end of the world, I paid 2k for the Thrown weapon on my rogue - what ever will I do? Guess I’ll have to spend 2-4 hours one day to get it right back

I know a few people who did actually regret spenting tens of thousands gearing their alts at the end of Classic in GDKPs, who then couldn’t even afford epic flying (at first) in TBCC. They mostly got caught up with the bidding excitement.
Of course, I’m guessing most people have more foresight than that.

I go through that every patch. I wish I was just spending gold instead of having had my hundreds and thousands of hours spent raiding and grinding go poof every patch.
OP by that logic? you’ll never do anything because eventually everything will go to trash.

The good endgame gear is not immediately replaced, it in fact usually lasts a bit.
AND, your character begins the zone with good stats, hit, etc and usually does not struggle with the quests. They power through it.
I won’t touch the attempt at smearing GDKPs, but all in all, this topic post is weaker than the future boosted 70 gear. oh ho.

Sunwell gear lasts until pre bis in most cases.
So I’m sure they don’t feel bad.

You cannot earn that amount of gold that quickly unless your’e going to gdkp’s. Sounds like you’re also going to one of the bad gdkp’s if it takes you that long to get your gold back.
