Why is it said that Envenom consumes your Deadly Poison stacks? After you use Envenom the poison stacks stay on the target and continue ticking.
What part of this am I misunderstanding?
Because Envenom does remove your stacks. It’s only if you have the Master Poisoner talent that they stay.
If you are combat or sub spec, envenom will consume the stacks. Only assassination has a talent to preserve stacks, and that’s why the other specs use eviscerate or rupture instead of envenom.
