Is retail any better rn? I’m tired of losing bg’s as Alliance in TBC, finding a way to stay subbed to this game .
I decided to grind the black war tiger yesterday and was only missing 30x WSG marks since I already had a surplus of AV and AB marks. I grinded all 30 WSG marks over the course of two 3 hour play sessions.

I am about 0 wins and 15 losses in random pug WSG as Ally. In retail I play both factions, usually about 50/50 in retail in random bgs across both factions. I have never seen pvp so bad for ally in TBC classic.
The only way you win is to make a pre-made.

I don’t know why, but Alliance seem to struggle in WSG far more then any other BG. Not only do we lose most of the time, it’s a 3 cap Horde to 0 cap Alliance loss.

You could try doing what all the alliance teams do that beat the horde teams I’m on… and cap the flag 3 times.

Honestly - If you really want to win WSG - it is not too hard.
Engi 375 - Rocket boots, parachute cloak, load up on FAPS and consumes. Become a pro flag carrier. You wont win all games, but it will MASSIVLY increase your win rate to be able to get the flag home almost all the time.
you DONT need to be a druid, mage or rogue (altho this helps) to do this. Just remember, no one will give you any credit or much acknowledgement for spending your time and gold to help them win, thy will just sit mid farming HKs, but hopefully they will get a few flag returns for you and at least you can gain marks quicker.
Worst I’ve seen in 13 years playing this game.
