How do you heals do it?

I always take criticism to heart and improve. There are times though when I couldn’t have done more than I did. You really just have to have thick skin and you have to really WANT to be good. One time in a Rated Battleground, someone said that I was a “fing idiot” because I didn’t have over 100 dispels. I had around 30 dispels. I called that jerk a name and left the group, but that jerk now has people praising my dispels because they are always high now. You really just have to decide how you react to things. Be good enough that if someone criticises you, it won’t affect you because you already know that you’re good.

I don’t take it personally when people go full idiot on me and decide their deeps are more important than that sapped healer over there.

Alliance not only has more bg whiners, but they take that whining to a higher level.

How can you kill a healer however bad he is … all he needs to do is press 1-2 buttons in any order . Except for disc , I don’t think it is possible to kill any healer 1-1 .

With my macro. I have it on my mousewheel and when my finger gets tired I turn my mouse over and pretend its one of my kids race cars and drive it around on my desk.

Lol… and what macro is that .

The only thing I have found I can do is position them for knockbacks on certain maps

It’s simple. If they arent doing any of the objectives, dont heal them. If they dont contribute to the win, then healing them is fueling the fire of people being worthless. Theyll whine about losing because they will never see that its them who are the problem. Just troll them and heal yourself. Always tell them this:

“Winners get heals.”

I was horde since 2005. It was fun especially during tbc and wrath. It just got boring and too easy. I wanted a challenge so here I am on alliance :relieved:

If you’re solo-queuing always go in with the assumption that you will get zero peels. Helps get a more alert, defensive mindset. If you do get peels, great, prioritize the beautiful mf helping you out and don’t forget /ty. Also, positioning is so incredibly important. You’ll notice the majority of the time when you get trained to death has to do with your position.

As a monk, where you put your transcendence is vital to survival more often than not. Don’t forget to use it! If you’re getting pummeled in an area like lm, the nw track in SSM, mid of eots, RoP them into oblivion.

Monk is fun, the only healing class I really enjoy. I hope you give it another shot

I’ve rarely stepped into a pve dungeon since wotlk. How do mythic dungeons work? Do I need to do the regular dungeon first to become familiar with mechanics?

No wayyy. Pugging as a mythic+ tank is prob the most frustrating.

They are really pass or fail. A lot of the mechanics can just wipe your group. The mechanics aren’t that hard to figure out though.

You’re missing out, friend. They are pretty easy for PUGs even up to like +13

Casuals do +10’s/+11’s just fine in my experience. You should absolutely be doing at least a +10 every week for the free 410+ gear. Doing at least one +10 every week is a must for alts, it’s one of the fastest ways to gear them up.

I agree with most of what posted. Except for not healing those who complain, I can’t stand healers who do that. On my Disc I heal anyone regardless if they rage at me or not. As a matter of fact have made many friends with that attitude. For me it is about Winning! And if healing someone rude will win the BG, I heal them!

You see that is the attitude that drives me crazy. You all act like it is only DPS that are bad, there are plenty of bad healers.

Example, in one BG died twice with no heals, so I followed our healer and peeled him, BOP, HOF, slowed the three melee, and STILL got no heals, can’t help but get mad at bad healers or healers that blame DPS.

BTW, at the end of that BG I was top in damage taken, while our healer was eighth.

i would want to expand on that, being undergeared or underskilled but still doing your best is certainly more welcome than being a stuck up twàt that sits in a corner and refuses to heal. healers are a cornerstone role in bgs, if they aren’t doing their job at all its going to have a significant impact.

there are bad healers and there are healers with bad attitudes, i would take the prior over the latter every time.

I really don’t see healers selectively healing. We want to roll to victory just as much as dps. I press when needed and hang back and heal as situation demands

I don’t anymore.

Can’t heal stupidity.

Best random bg healer I’ve seen is cordazzo. He’s always in the right place and pushes the action when needed. I’ve played against him when I was a swine smooching horde and he’s a pita.
