Yes one trait is getting nerfed, but it’s not a big deal.
But the buff to ascendance is huge. When you pop it it now also heals for 600% of your SP, that’s crazy.

Yea, we need dmg/ healing buffs across the board and passive tankyness nerfed.

Ascendance was trash for a 3 min cd in arenas, especially in 2s. The big heal is gonna help plus with these changes it seems that as long as ur not within 20 yards of your heal target it will duplicate on the heal target like it did a while ago, as it should be.
Man those changes are questionable…

As long as they’re not 8.0 sham where they don’t cast while not dying when standing in divine protection totem.

Idk I think they’re fine, my low rating is because i’m lazy (and haven’t Rshammed since WoD), but Ascendance felt seriously lacking ever since the heal on a single target couldn’t be duplicated on that target, seems this change corrects that.
For a 3 minute CD Ascendance should be a great heal.
Kinda don’t like the ascend change because it’s a direction of being forgiving even when big user error has been made.
For example, a bad shaman is going to pop Ascend when he can readily get CCd. This wasted the CD, and because of this his team either loses or falls behind in CDs.
A smart shaman saves Ascend until he’s on CC DR and then tops his team. By making this buff to ascendance it’s likely you can still get reward out of instantly topping your team even if you failed and used it right when you were going to get CCd.
This doesn’t mean I think shamans don’t have issues but I really dislike changes like this even though I know it’s not pvp specific.

I don’t feel like Shamans really need a buff to any one ability, just maybe their mastery needs to be more effective.
At least this change to Ascendance doesn’t seem game breaking, it’s really, like Dilly said, going to make using Ascendance at the wrong time a little more forgiving - but I don’t think it’s going to make Shamans OP compared to their current state.
This buff is just to offset how bad everything on the gcd feels and will prob see other CDs seeing similar treatment.
Season 2 and 7 months into this expac and it’s still an unfinished product not seeing minor tweaks but still see saw changes lol.
