How do I know if my account is being hacked by malware? For days now I been battling my mail accounts and wish to know if my account is being hacked while I’m away.
If someone other than you is logging into your battle.net account, it would show up on your battle.net security page.
I just looked and they said my phone is 220 miles away from where I am…
Not OP…
You are good, no signs of attempted access and you have an authenticator.
That said, if your WoW password is the same as any other account - especially one that’s been compromised I’d change it…but only AFTER you are certain your system is secure.
Would do some scans on your computer and when it is clean make a new email address and use that. Gmail is great you can use the google app to help protect it!
is it true that the login/sign in locations are closest estimate to ones location based on their location data/IP address or is it tied to something else?
More or less.
Mine always says it’s somewhere north or south in another suburb of where ever I am so believe it’s the way your isp is routing your connections
I’m in North East Victoria (Australia), and shows I’m connecting in Sydney. This is due to how Starlink routes its Satellite → Earth traffic.
Unfortunately,my system is indeed hacked the time date is all wrong it says I did this post one day ago which was posted a week ago. This is also effected my bro in network .Kevyne.
Bros, computer was changed from pro to enterprise 32bit at that and stole the license .
Thanks for giving updating the location ,now why would I go to Altanta ga.when I haven’t left this area in years. Yup,hacked.
If you are referring to this thread, it was created on April 2nd, not a week ago.
Orlyia has already confirmed that your battle.net account is secure and that no unauthorized access attempts had been made.
Not sure why you still think your system might be hacked, but try running malwarebytes free version of their software and see if it picks anything up.
I think there is a bit of paranoia at play here. Perhaps there running a VPN that is confusing things.
