If this topic strikes you as funny, you aren’t alone I can’t believe I have to ask how to use what should be a simple feature. I paid for a name change, I logged out of the game and then signed back in (because it said your name change will be useable next time you log into the game).
HOW do I literally do the name change? There’s no option on my character selection screen, I’ve never changed a character name before so I don’t know how the feature works.
I’m not exactly sure on this since the warband upgrade. But you may need to switch over to the realm menu and select from there.
I’m not home at the computer but I think it’s done at the bottom right where it says warband and you should be able make menu selection from there.
If I’m wrong someone will be along to correct me 
Tokens for the various services should show on the upper right i believe of your character select screen. If the purchase was recent, it might take a bit to process and a new login to show.
This was a post for a boost token. But I believe it is the same steps just replace the realm with the realm you are on and the character with your character
I have the same problem. Tips are not helping at all. Purchase says completed.
Its usually best to do your own thread.

This thread is for a retail name change. You are posting on a Classic character. Which version of the game were you wanting to do a name change on, and did you purchase the correct token?
The name change for Cataclysm Classic? From what I can see the purchase it still queued.
Does it say complete under your transaction history? You may just need to give it a bit of time.
