I have googled it. Read posts on Reddit. Been to WoWhead… how do I begin the questline? and it is this toon I am wanting to do it on.

Have you done the legion campaign on another character before or is it your first time.
No… I am new to game (played briefly in 9.1) but this is an all new account.
How do I start Legion Campaign?

This should tell you all the steps, scroll down to the “getting to argus” section.
Pretty sure you have to do some of the class order hall as well as the main campaign that has you doing each of the zones to collect items of power before the argus portal will appear.
I have been here 10 times… to wowhead but i can’t find even the first quest in game to kick it off.
Uniting the Isles is the first quest you need which starts at Khadgar, is Khadgar in Dalaran for you but doesn’t have the quest or is Khadgar not there. The war within starts in Dalaran too and moves khadgar so maybe you need to go find him somewhere else, not sure where he would be.
I just finished Titanstrike and went and found Khadgar finally and got Uniting the isles. Guess I start here? Thanks for the help. Sheesh, a lot of RP in Legion so far
other than getting to the raid entrance, Argus can be totally avoided with nothing lost but eye burn from all the vomit green lol
So glad they removed the rep requirement for allied races.
I mean, I had to do it, but at least it makes this statement true now.
edit: unless you still have to do Argus questline to unlock lightforged or something. Haven’t looked at the requirements since I unlocked them.

I only want it for Raiding (tmog, mounts), so I guess I have to do the whole thing 
You need Uniting the Isles, but then I believe you have to open up the Broken Shore to get The Hand of Fate from Khadgar.
After that you will have access through the beacon on Krasus’s Landing. Though it may have been changed to lessen the requirement since the last time I started a new account.
If you just want to get to the raid entrance, you can have someone summon you there, then run back to the closest beacon.
Supposedly , there is an NPC standing in Stormwind keep somewhere that Sends you directly to Argus without the need to do legion.
I will try to necro the post , a player was sent to Argus undergeared and he was complaining about that skip.

Yeah, this is for Dranai feature and doesn’t give access to the raid zone or anything outside of quest line.
