I had a bunch of RAF accounts from back in TBC or WOLK (idr which or when it was a while ago)
while I think I know what email(s) are associated with my WoW accounts I am trying to access, I don’t see any way to login with a non battle.net account. I looked at the options on the battle.net site and I did not see anywhere to log in either. If anyone could offer some direction that would be fantastic.
hey dude, thanks for the reply. they aren’t battle.net accounts. I want to link them to my battle.net account
they are the original log in name based accounts from the original world of warcraft games, so you would log on as “darthwraith” for example, not an email
I’ve tried searching around for stuff like “Legacy wow login”, but I’m not sure how to describe my issue
I also don’t remember how I was able to do it with this account
In order to do that now, you need to contact Blizz directly. It used to be possible for players to do this on their own, but it’s been so long now since they’ve moved to battle.net that now a ticket is needed to recover the old account.
This isn’t an exact match, but it should do. Just be sure to include as much detail as you can regarding the old account. You might also need to include identification to match the name on the old account.

thank you for clarifying, I don’t remember having that issue when doing it with this account. that’s strange.
It’s unfortunate because I probably made 4-5 RAF accounts because people would bail on me(presumably to get the reward for me using their RAF link)
I’m looking for one specifically that had my rogue main on it. I will have to try calling. A few hours ago I put in a request for some help with possible email and login names (It’s fuzzy), but it says it will take 24 hours for a response.

Calling them isn’t an option unfortunately. Tickets are the only option right now. You’ll want to wait on that ticket to see if they can help you find the right account

Back in 2009 when they rolled out Battlenet accounts we had a do-it-yourself option to move the individual WoW license under the Bnet account. We also got a penguin pet for doing it!
That self help option did lead to some issues though with people later selling old accounts that had old desirable gear, mounts, pets, or achievements. As a result, Blizz now handles it manually and ensures there is no account selling/transfers or other shady stuff.
They will be happy to help you find them and move them under your current Bnet though
Just so long as everything is in the same legal name.

I did this account like a few months before classic came out, so that’s strange. I don’t remember having any issues; i just logged in and it was converted to a battle.net account.
my ticket is in, 1 day 3 hour wait time x)
Unfortunately the wait times are kind of high right now. Work from home means they are not allowing text/phone callbacks (maybe personal data/tracking reasons?) so everything is ticket. Many folks are also engaging in online entertainment like games due to the pandemic (and them being smart and staying home!).
Keep in mind, the time is not an appointment, it is the average ticket time. Some are prioritized and super short, some are escalated to supervisors for odd tech issues. You may get a response sooner than the average of all tickets.
