I have video proof of a kick botter in rated arenas. Where can I submit and actually have a employee look at it?
You would need to right-click report the player. Blizzard will only go by their logs.
Unacceptable answer. The in game right click feature would not work. Also I cannot submit evidence that way.
What do you mean the right-click feature would not work? The option you would need to click on is “Cheating”. The only evidence Blizzard will accept is their own logs.
A blue, aka as a Support Forum Agent, will tell you the same thing.
What do you mean it does not work?
I use the right-click report system multiple times a day. So no, I do not understand what you mean when you say it does not work.
The Customer Support Forum is a player-to-player help forum. If you are unable to give details as to why something is not working, then no one here will be able to help you sort out the problem.
You might be running into a UI issue. You could try disabling all your addons and see if you are able to right-click a name then.
If you are having issues reporting someone, you may need to fully reset your UI to fix any issues.
I would even suggest going a steep further. Disabling may not even fix the problem. Sounds like they need a full and proper UI reset, which would be the very first step in trouble shooting their inability to report.
Edit: Beaten to the reset by Jugend
Also, as an aside OP, this is absolutely the WRONG forum to troll or come with snark the way you have. People are trying to help. Because you don’t like the answer does not mean it is not the proper answer. This is the single handed most moderated forum here. Just so we can say you were warned.
Perhaps explaining in better detail what happens when you try to use it? Similar to your car example, you wouldn’t drop it off at a mechanic and say “It doesn’t work” and leave. You’d describe the issue.
Maybe step back and take a deep breathe. Because there’s really no need to be telling people where they can post.
Nightdrakon is 100% correct that the right-click-report is the absolute best way to report. It sends a lot of data behind the scenes that we can’t see. A video is fine, but the actual data around the time of the incident is even better.
You’re welcome to send an e-mail with a link to your video to hacks@blizzard.com, but understand that it’s a one-way road and you will not receive a reply to it.
Amazing, finally an actual answer to my question. Thank you.
And this was exactly what I was talking about. Not liking the answer, especially the proper answer, is not trolling. Name calling and demanding people stop posting, on the other hand…yeah
It doesn’t actually solve your issue though as while they can use a video to look into whether something happened or not, it’s not nearly as helpful to the team that handles these as the data from right-click-reporting.
The advice given to reset your UI would be highly recommended so that you can report it that way next time.
don’t blame helpful forum goers for your own trolling. if you’d just answer questions without being obtuse, the help is right there.
Videos and screenshots can be sent to hacks@blizzard.com for review. Keep in mind that these are not considered proof. They are only informational to assist the hacks team in their investigation of their own internal logs. Right-click report is the preferred method of reporting, as it automatically provides a great deal of real time data. Supplemental info is also welcomed, but should be submitted in addition to the right-click report.
