How do I remove traveler's log tracking list?

I’ve had a couple objectives tracked since 2 months ago and they wont go away. They show up for every single character too. I shift clicked to make it go away but it comes back, its starting to get annoying.

hmm… Did you try shift-clicking it again from the journal or from the quest log?

I haven’t personally had this issue, but I assume you don’t want to hear “check your addons.”

shift clicked everywhere, dont think its in my quest log. dont have any addons for quest tracking etc, but it was also showing first day of patch when I had every addon turned off.

Same issue

Tracked dungeon bosses and raid bosses on the first month, I wanted to see how many I had left since I figured I’d probably end up getting them both done. Now they both show up on EVERY one of my alts EVERY month, and sometimes when I log in.

I tried untracking from the traveler’s log, and untracking it from under my quest tracker, but it just keeps coming back. Getting kind of annoying now.

Doesn’t work for some people, I tracked something and it only went away when I done it, than it came back? Was very strange, only really went away when the new month started.

Didn’t you know games bugged quite bad at the moment.

yup…same here.
I checked a few of them to keep track and now they will not go away. On every character every time I log in.
ive unchecked them at least 10 times and they keep coming back

I’ve had this problem since the Trading Post was introduced. Anyone have a fix or work around?

It appears that it’s just bugged for some people. Only way around it is to use an add-on to replace the tracking list.

Same issue here as well, and just like everyone else nothing I’ve tried has worked. Fingers crossed Blizz fixes it soon.

Here’s how to fix it until Blizz does:

You start at the top of the character list, log into the first one, untrack Trading Post tasks, log out, log into the next one, untrack Trading Post tasks, log out and keep repeating until you’ve done it on every character on every server.

DO NOT log into a character that you’ve already logged into during this process or it messes it up and you have to start all over again. Just go down the list, one by one. It’ll take a while, but it does work.

Still having the same issue…I see the solution, but with all my alts it’s kind of ridiculous.

edit: question: do we have to go through this every time we decide to track something?

edit 2: the solution worked for me, i think. I shudder to think what happens if I track anything for the trading post in the future.

yes i’ve been haunted by the reminder to do pvp world quests on every character every time i log in, very annoying after several months of trying to untrack it
