How do I purchase the New expansion after region changing

I originally created my account while is was living overseas in the OCE region. My account registered in the US/OCE region. I used the official blizzard system to change my country of residence to the EU. This has switched my purchasing currency from OCE payment to EURO. When I go to my Blizzard Client is says,

“Sorry, You’re not eligible to add World of Warcraft Dragonflight Heroic addition to your account”.

It then gives me an option to,

“To make purchases for this account, Switch to the Americas and South Asia Store.”

Is this the correct path to purchase the expansion with the client after using the region change?

If anyone has any experience in this topic I would appreciate your advice on how to proceed.

Sounds like you are trying to purchase the expansion from the EU store, while the actual version of the game is US(NA) / Oceanic.

Yes.

While your billing address has changed, the game version you have is still the NA/Oceanic version - as you can’t transfer the game region versions.

If the first account is a NA account then youd need to buy the NA upgrade, if you want to now play on EU realms, youd need to restart a new EU licence
