How do I progress? I am 627 ilvl and I get declined from almost all mythic 0s
I have absolutely NO idea what I am doing in this game. I can’t do heroic dungeons they drop crap armor for me. So, I am stuck. Tried asking to join a guild on the forums and no luck. Just want a casual fun guild no response. I’m out of ideas.
delves are a great way to get started!
I been doing that and no gear drops at least for me.
For delves you first want to do the weekly quests to get keys, then run the bountiful delves at the highest difficulty you can. Easier as a tank.
Also run the 4 Timewalking dungeon weekly for a heroic piece.
Run lfr for cartel chips and buy your bis piece off the vendor, can get enough for two heroic pieces now.
Pickup the kill Gallywix quest in undermine before doing lfr or do it in story mode. Craft a 658 weapon with the token if you don’t have better
Ask in trade chat on your server, say 'new player LF guild that does mythics" or apply thru the guild finder.
Start doing delves and the Nightfall scenario to get Vet. Gear drops. Jump into random battleground pvp and get some honor or conquest gear. Also, pvp gets you playing and interacting. Game feels a lot less random or lonely when you start killin enemies with other players, no matter your level.

Also you want to as soon as you can go to the catalyst and transform 3 of either head shoulder chest, gloves to get your 4 piece tier set bonus. First need to get either better helm or shoulder.
Have you been upgrading your gear with shards/ valorstones? If not always prioritize weapons and trinkets
This late into the season people are able to give their alts full veteran / champion gear as soon as they hit 80. So 627 is pretty low and it might be rough to get into groups.
However if you start your own groups it won’t be as big of an issue.
But your best bet is to farm T8 delves for champion gear. Do the weekly hallow fall scenario for a champion piece. Do the weekly pinnacle cache quests and you’ll get decked out in champion gear pretty quick.
Then you will be much more likely to get into low keys.
Dastardly Duo’s outside Dornogal also gives a random Champion piece weekly, as does the World Boss in Undermine.
Definitely agree with the suggestions about delves.
Since we’re late into season 2, I’m working on alt and I’m leaning heavily on Delves to get decent gear.
I recommend aiming for T8 bountiful delves. You should be able to do them easily with Blood spec.
that’ll help fill out vet gear with champion stuff. May take a bit. You’ll get runed crests at the same time. You can do this pretty much up to 658.
I think once you get to atleast 645-650 range, invites to M+ should be a little better.
TW weekly gives hero gear
Cartel chip farm gives hero gear.
8 x Delves for 3 GV slots of hero gear
Delve Map for a piece of hero gear.
It’s out there, you just gotta go get it.
You should be doing T7+ Bountiful delves only
There are a few ways about this!
One is to do Delves. Tier 8s drop one piece of Champion track gear (with a chance of getting extra Veteran/Champion gear) per completion in Bountiful delves. You can also acquire a Bountiful Map which can be used to give you a super good chest that drops a piece of Hero tier gear, with a bunch of Gilded Crests at T8 and above.
You can also try to get into raiding. Normal LoU is pretty easy, there’s almost no mechanical difference between Norm and LFR, honestly. I remember we just slapped a pug group together and cleared it, no problem on the very first week it was out. With more people the margin of error is generally reduced, although that can change depending on the fight. (Stix specifically comes to mind: Messing up balls has lethal consequences.)
You can also try running your own groups. Can’t decline yourself! Specify it’s a learning group and see if others will like to join in. It will likely be a slow fill, so be patient.
Since it’s the tail end of S2 folks are slowing down and waiting for S3, but I hope you’re able to wrangle up a group for stuff you enjoy doing!
So, what I did, was just do a load of delves, and every last bit of world content, from the Theater to Nightfall, to Awakening the Machine, etc etc etc.
Got fairly lucky with drops to be honest.
Get some pieces that can be catalyzed for at least a 2 set, and just keep grinding Crests and Valorstones to upgrade whatever you get. And fill out the Great Vault as best as you can.
I went from level 70 to ilvl 660 in a month.
This is how I got fresh 80s from the 400s to 650-655 in 4 hours of gameplay. If you’re a new player some of this won’t apply, but it can be useful for others who have alts:
Hit 80, check warband bank for gear. Could usually get 4-5 pieces, but again only applies to people with mains.
Do the Hallowfall scenario and those 3 dailies, that’s one Champion piece (hold the token until last) and usually 3 Veteran at least.
Do the Gobfather world boss in Undermine.
Circe’s Circlet and DISC belt, do the disc belt on the highest delve level you can.
Timewalking event is up so that’s a free piece.
100 disc shards and that 6 world quest meta will each give a Veteran piece.
Hit all renown vendors for crests/stones (again only applies to alts).
By this point I’m high enough ilvl to get into LFR for the 4 bosses and dinar heroic piece.
4 and 5 mask Visions run each drop a heroic piece, plus you can buy a heroic weapon after the 5 mask (new players will struggle, mains should have tribute/tree filled out). If you still have some pieces to upgrade, 1/2/3 mask runs will offer Champion gear.
Then do some crest/stone upgrades and you’re already overgeared for entry level M+.
1.) Grab all the weeklies. And i mean ALL of them. They get you champion gear and a restored coffer key. Their all fairly easy to finish as well.
2.) Run tier 8 bountiful delves specifically. At the end use the coffer key to get a champion item. Side note: if you get a delvers map use it, youll get a hero item at the end. Doing these will also fill your vault and get you a hero item on tuesday.
3.) LFR if steps 1-2 are done
Keep upgrading your gear along the way and youll get into the 640s pretty easily.
The weekly “Nightfall” event in Hallowfall gives you a token that you can turn in to the vendors there for a piece of Champion gear. The boss at the end of that event drops a piece of gear as well. In addition, the three daily quests from that event each reward a bag that contains gear. Note: the gear in the bags isn’t always the type you need for your class, but it can be great for alts or disenchanting.
Also, decent gear drops from the following:
Weekly quests offered in Dorn
Theatre Troupe event
Awakening the Machine event
Each zone’s “Special Assignment” quest
Weekly Severed Threads pact quest in Azj-Kahet
Delves (tier 8 and above)
World boss in Undermine
If you are doing some/all of the above, you will be reasonably geared in no time. Make sure to use the valor stones and crests you acquire to upgrade your gear. If none of the gear drops you receive are tier gear, use the catalyst on helm/shoulder/chest/hands/legs to make a tier set.

If you’re a Blood DK, do 8 t11 delves a week. They’re easy at ur ilvl with brann dps n you self healing. Why 8 11s? More currency*
What he said. Once you collect your 3 lfr chips go first for the weapon as those drops tend to be more rare. Then Id go for the best trinkets for your class. Delves are still good for the belt snd weekly vault. Once you get to doing T11 delves the vault reward will be 649. Make sure to do the weeklies available near the flight master as they reward decent gear too. The lfr weekly is near the vault as is the chip vendor.
I dont do mythic plus anymore, but back when I did I started with M0 and just worked my way up. You need a track record before groups will take you in higher keys
What tier of delves have you been doing
This is terrible advice. Biggest power jumps for you from dinars will be trinkets (Target those first) then jastor diamond usually is a good third option. Most players craft weapons since it’s free ilvl especially if you’re doing weekly t11’s Takes 2 weeks to get a 681 this way which is BiS basically unless mythic raiding.
Go target visions gear to catalyze from 4mask runs since they’re hero track. From there run your own key up to around 10 and farm it. Congrats you’ve beaten gearing.
