How do I ignore an user on these forums

I have a person who I would like to ignore and never see their posts and/or comments.

I have tried a few things, but it seems like I can’t ignore/hide a person post on these new forums. How is this done?

Click on your portrait on the right top corner, click the cog wheel. In the list on the left, go to notifications then there’s a mute option. Not sure if it’s what you want.

Right now you can’t I don’t think… Thought I saw a blue post some time ago though that indicated that it was on the list of changes to be requested.

No way to ignore yet. But I understand the difficulty in forcing yourself to ignore someone’s posts. Sometimes, you see it before you can look away and the self control just goes out the window! :innocent:

See, you are one example of why I do not like to post or post on my main, I can’t get a simple straight up answer like the other people above you.

These message boards are just so toxic, everyone wants to put in your opinion instead of helping someone.

No worries, logging off this toon and won’t have to worry about seeing anymore stupid comments.

That only stops notifications about that person.

There is a way to do it through an extension with chrome, but I can’t remember where it was posted.

How about getting rid of useless clutter?

I do apologize for this being off-topic… but is anyone else really bothered by the thread title?

I mean, it looks grammatically correct, you’re supposed to have an before a vowel… but it just sounds wrong. An user, as opposed to A user. It doesn’t sound right. :weary:

This is really bothering me now. I’m going to have to go break out my old textbooks and see if there is a special rule about it when I get home.

But… my first comment was simple and straightforward. I specifically said that we can’t yet.

And my comment after that was actually me being understanding in how difficult it can be sometimes to have the self control to ignore what we see posted by someone we may not like.

I said that because there’s always someone who comes into these threads and says, “learn to have self control and ignore them yourself.”

I wasn’t toxic or snarky in the least. :cry:

I agree with this but some people out there just can’t do it for some reason. For whatever reason even if they don’t want to read a certain post they read it anyways. I don’t understand it.
