One of the funnest toys to play with in timewalks. Such a waste to throw away the coolest meme beam in game.
But yea, they should have a way to destroy it and then a npc to restore it for a very expensive price like a bunch of the old stuff.

It’s actually pretty OP when doing timewalking dungeons. I’d highly suggest using it for those, and the MoP legendary cloak if you have it.
It seems like a good example of what void storage should mean in my opinion.
Hopefully we get to reequip it in the next expansion. The Heart of Azeroth was the only good system that has been designed in the last 3 expansions. The Essence system is great and works like Glyphs from WotLK. Hope they make it relevant again.
Also it’s BiS for open world and old content. It literally gives you like 10k HP and extra abilities.
Lesson learned with mage tower: Don’t delete crap.
What Blizz NEEDS to do is increase bank space. The equipment/items should be slotted to each bank tab per expansion.
Every expansion I’ve sold my old crap when I’ve gotten upgrades (I have a lot of alts because I cannot focus on just one class/character). I wish I kept my old crap now that MT was pooped out.

At this point, i’m wondering why blizzard hasn’t added more bank tabs that players can purchase like how you can purchase more guild vault tabs. That shouldn’t be that difficult of a QoL update to add in.

It would be if you did not have to pay to retrieve it. Not only that you pay for each item instead of the tab like you do for your bank tabs. Not worth it as far as I am concerned.
In return for this unique service, the Ethereals will require a small fee for each item deposited into or withdrawn from their Void Storage apparatus. Multiple items can be added and removed at once, and the cost of each transaction will be display at the bottom of the screen, updating dynamically as you select additional items to deposit or withdraw. However, as for gear, it seems a waste since you don’t have to use it for transmog items any longer. Seems there are quite a few things that have gone by the wayside due to changes and additions to the game.

Yep, just used it in Timewalking this week. I had an alt going through TW that was about 180 ilvl but just due to bad drop RNG, still had a 134-ish Heart of Azeroth equipped. All of a sudden I noticed the button for it was lit up on my action bars, and I merrily went around zapping everything in sight.
About halfway through I get asked in party chat, “What talent did you pick to do that?” lol.

You’ll probably want it for BFA Timewalking when it comes eventually.

if you haven’t enabled its essences, I’d probably call it junk content.
They blocked this item their skills in mage tower, and I have more reason to hate it much more this expansion of BfA together N’Zoth and ELSAGRETHANOS 2.0
Therefore the only item that works would be the legendary 8.3 cloak just to raid Nya’lotha and kill N’zoth on any difficulty.
The rest is like Azerite armors, I sold them.

Missing out on longstrider traits for mog farming. Along with ripple minor trait and sphere of suppression major for speed running legacy stuff.
Besides Idk why everyone is complaining of lost slots. We can have 400 rn (28 free from bank, 11x32+ 20 with stock backpack with Authenticator+sms). 8.3 cloak, 3 artifacts, and heart only take up 5 slots. Not even getting into possible void storage, reagents and the ability to mail over non-bop stuff. People just aren’t managing their things right.
Same, gotta have both factions covered, especially when back in the day the AH’s were separate.
Gotta shake out every gold, silver, and copper from those dastardly Alliance dogs.
