How do I check my ping to each server?

Because of where I live I have no idea which US or even South American server is the best/fastest connection for me. Is there a way, outside of making a character on each server, to do a check so I can make the right decision? Maybe a site or something that pings every server address or something like that?

I don’t know if this is still relevant, but here is a list to each server and where they are hosted.

Don’t have to check them all, just have to jump onto one of the servers by location. Then hover your mouse over the bottom right corner near the menu button while in game and you shall see your latency there.

You can look at the list on Wowpedia of Datacenters to server list but its 3 Datacenters. LA, Chicago, and Sydney. So if your in SEA region go with Ocean region, otherwise US and SA are both located in the LA and Chicago Data Centers.

Easy thing make a new character on the server your interested in and log in and see for your self. Play a bit and kick the tires as they say

There used to be a support page, but that’s been removed. I’m not sure if the IP addresses for the servers are the same as they used to be, so directly pinging them might not be possible.

For the US region servers are physically located in 3 locations, Chicago, Los Vegas and Australia. Depending on your activity you could technically be connected to any in the group especially if using group finder.
