Be present on the forums for 100 consecutive days, need to like 30 things, get liked 20 times, make 3 topics, and post a certain amount of things. And it needs to be maintained.

These are the requirements for it. You can check your post and like numbers in your character’s profile page too. Mostly if you just come here regularly you’ll eventually get it.
- Must have visited at least 50% of last 100 days
- Must have replied to at least 10 different topics
- Of topics created in the last 100 days, must have viewed 500 topics
- Of posts created in the last 100 days, must have read 20,000 posts (both starting posts and replies)
- Must have received 20 likes, and given 30 likes.
- Must not have received more than 5 spam or offensive flags (with unique posts and unique users for each, confirmed by a moderator)
- Must not have been suspended (including forum suspensions or in-game account actions of any Blizzard game)

they should indicate clear requirements
That I’m not sure on as I haven’t had any actions on my forum activities. I do know the 2nd link I posted has a way to check your trust level, just remember that there will be different numbers shown, the higher is where you are presently.
Farm the forums. It is a grind for the 20000 posts read.
They kind of don’t want clear requirements so that people aren’t grinding so much. The idea is to promote involvement and interacting with each other with manners.
That said, the only requirement that you probably won’t get naturally over regular use is the 20k posts read.

Reading (or the emulation of reading) messages, 20,000 to be exact, is the biggest hurdle.
You can’t just start Ginormous High Elf Thread #999 and drag the slider down to the 4321st post in the thread. You have to scroll down the individual posts.
And here’s a tip that I wasn’t aware of until just recently: the time stamp for when a specific forum poster’s reply (top right of their message, all the way opposite to the avatar) will have some time… like 11m (11 minutes since that poster replied) 21d (21 days since that person posted that reply) and so forth. If you have NOT “read” that forum post, it will have a blue dot next to that time stamp. When you slowly scroll down through the replies, these blue dots will fade away and disappear, thus signifying that you have in fact “read” that message.
If you’ve never read a single post in one of those ginormous rants about portals or high elves or gnomes, each reply to the OP will have a blue dot and you’ll have to slowly scroll down and allow the forum software to remove the blue dot X 20,000 (in the last 100 days I think someone mentioned).
The likes outgoing (you click the heart) and incoming (someone clicks your heart) happen pretty fast, as long as you post kitty video clips and insult gnomes.
hmm, old forums must count then, I got a forum time out when I responded with “cry harder” to someone complaining about something dumb on the old forums
or maybe I haven’t read 20k posts?

EDIT: im also 30 days off of 100 visits, and 2k read posts off. Just realized I can look at my post summary page.
Pretty sure I got mine on Day 50 though. It was well before I’d been active for 100 days.
then I’ll just have to hope I need to read 2k more posts and that the old forum suspension doesn’t count, being able to posts images and links would be nice.
If you click your avatar you can go to your profile summary page. It’ll give you the stat numbers for everything. Says you’re at 18.1k read right now, so you’re close! Not at 20k yet.
yeah, I realized I skipped the first part of your post where you pointed that out and just looked at the requirements, my bad.
Also all of the requirements you had to of done in the past 100 days. Since the forums are over 100 days old, the statistics in your profile will not be accurate as the statistics include activity over 100 days old.
You said “old forum suspension” do you mean before they switched over to this new format? I had a 3 day ban on the old forums probably 10+ years ago and I still have TL3 on these new ones.
You grind. This is your RL version of WoW. Grind to get there, then grind to maintain. Purely for cosmetic reasons.
