How do bandages work?

Can I apply a bandage to myself when I am in combat?
Does it proc with drinking a health potion?
Is bandaging interrupted by being hit by an enemy?
Is bandaging interrupted by autoshot going off?

Yes.

When in combat it’s best to stun the enemy first so you have time to get a few ticks of healing.

How does one get to 60 without knowing any of this.

Man, they really did a number on you all still playing Retail. I remember when I first saw they had removed talents, really gotta wonder the absolute flawed mental pathways that lead to that game.

it was because everyone would just thottbot their optimal talent tree anyway so what difference does it make how complex they are?

Because it does make a difference.

Ele/Resto pve or Ele/Resto pvp?

Ret PvE or Ret PvP?

And its an mmo RPG, things like trainers? Cooking? bandages? Skills? All of it matters.

Blizz lost the plot so hard, and people just kept accepting what they shoveled at them.

Honestly the second they said they would have boosts, I should have just checked out of TBC, ‘no changes’ was all that kept Classic decent.

I can tell you they don’t do enough…

  1. They are too slow to heal
  2. Anything stops them from working
  3. They take too long to reapply

last time i used first aid was heroic Vezax. it was removed a decade later.

My dirty little secret is that I have mained a healer since original TBC. I’ve leveled MANY alts. I have NEVER leveled first aid or cooking to max level.

I ended up leveling cooking after I swapped from holy to ret in mid TBC. (Wanted to farm my own str food.) I didn’t bother with first aid or fishing until sometime in WotLK, and I probably only did so for the achievements.
