Mine was pretty fun! Friend and I got a late start on Friday night and started queueing up for 2s (Fury war + Unh DK) at about 1am and we were pushing pretty strong until about 330 or so. Our highest ranking was 1570 which we are quite happy with and would have continued to try for 1600, but at this point we had drank too much and were playing like crap which put us on a losing streak - next season we will skip the drinking on week 1 so we can truly push as high as we can right off the bat before we get terribly outgeared.
Since we got a late start we weren’t able to get the new maledict trinket, but luckily we didn’t face it too many times this week. Maybe we can get on at our normal friday time next week to get it first.
Overall we had a lot of fun and hopefully next week we can get 1600!

Well funny story, I expected to be 1800 in RBGs in the first night or two but the people I RBG with played 17 games Tuesday and haven’t been back on since, and the pugs I joined after were … not very solid.
I hit 1800 in 2s last season and 2100+ in RBGs (my first season of rated PVP) the 2’s because some big zug, high XP warrior wanted his 18 that night and I was around his CR when RBGs broke for the night, so that’s basically my arena XP–getting mostly carried. But 4 Holy Paladins (you read that right lol) and hundreds of RBGs later, I guess I sort of learned the class fairly well. I also watch a lot of Borngood so that helps.
I got impatient of waiting on RBGs, hit 1650 in 3’s and 1600 in 2’s with some pretty respectable win %'s out of LFG, which I hope translates into 1800 won’t be too bad (gonna try to push it tonight), but not sure if I have the skillset to push 21. So if not hopefully RBGs pick back up and I can get my 21 there again.
So? All in all, not bad, I’m enjoying arena but take every milestone with a grain of salt that it might be my wall. Lol We’ll see, but I guess it does feel better getting rating in arena this time around to be more well-rounded at my class/spec and I’m looking forward to getting that 300 wins tabard that I’ve wanted for like 10 years. Think I’m like 120ish wins away.
I got two characters to 1800 and two to 1650 so I’m happy for the week all four should be 1800 by next week. I need a good resto druid to be this guy’s partner. I’ve been playing with a disc priest but he just seems to flop over like a dead fish the moment a windwalker, feral, demon hunter, ret pally or rogue targets him.
Had fun. Got this guy to 1800 for the mog and now trying to get my druid to 1800 for the mog also. Going to finish lvling my DH and hopefully get him and my dk to 1800 as well. Dk for mog. DH just for practice.
Good stuff dude! I’ve been working all weekend and week so I’ve not gotten to play much aside from the first day and a half. Tonight and tomorrow night I can though! I maxed renown on necro, swapped NF, maxed that renown, queued some 2’s for fun, got to 1900 then started helping people. Did another 0-1800 and two 0-1600’s for people. I ended at like 1800 still but I don’t care since I couldn’t upgrade duelist stuff this week anyway.
I’ll likely use these next two nights to secure 2100 and hopefully start some 3’s! Excited for the leggo Tuesday but of course I go back to work Tuesday and won’t be able to play until the 22nd

Well, I don’t necessarily intend to as the covenant choices require different stats; well for my own desires anyway. So once I start buying gear it won’t be that worth. However I was already necro and figured I might as well max it before I switch. I suppose I could always switch Monday, max it, then swap back Tuesday but I don’t necessarily intend to do that.
