How dealing damage feels like

As much as I’m in agreement with everything you’ve said, there’s a distinction to be made between stat procs and random damage.

Stat procs, while random, do not do their damage by default. They still deal damage as a function (In a mathematics sense) of the damage of the character, and the person playing that character’s ability. 1500 random haste will do less in the hands of a bad player than a good one. But infinite stars is going to do its damage anyway, completely regardless of a person’s ability to optimise their rotation.

So much affects your damage than just the gear and your knowledge in the spec. It’s a big problem with the game right now and corruptions only made it worse, no surprise. How about we get some titanforging on top of the corruptions just to spice things up?

True, but at this point… My character is augmented by somewhere between 5 to 10 different stat procs at a time nowadays.

Corruption procs are just the cherry on the top that make this variance so obscenely out of whack, that it’s now plain as day to anyone who even glances at logs. The problem was already there beforehand, it’s just obvious now.

Which is sorta what Preach said in that video. He was annoyed during WoD with how variably his DPS was despite doing the exact same thing each pull. With corruption… it’s just so ludicrous that he just can’t be asked to give a bleep about it.

Don’t think so.

“Subject to the laws of your country of residence, minor children may utilize an Account established by their parent or legal guardian. In the event that you permit your minor child or legal ward (collectively, your “Child”) to use an Account on the Platform, you hereby agree to this Agreement on behalf of yourself and your Child, and you understand and agree that you will be responsible for all uses of the Account by your Child whether or not such uses were authorized by you.”

I’m fairly confident that no one cares that his wife played his character. Except those who are ridiculously pedantic.

Well the information “Family members are exempt from that ruling. It’s pretty explicitly stated.” is incorrect.
That’s what I am responding to.

Fair enough, I recall thinking I had to go through some rigmarole, only to find that because the account was made and being billed to a joint bank account it didn’t matter.

That was a long time ago though, times may have changed.

I think damage variance, and relevance of player actions are two different issues. While corruption provides significant overlap, it’s important to still see them as such.
