How come the White faces don't look as cool as the asian and black faces

For human males and females.

I thought they all share the same set of faces, not sure what you’re looking at.

He’s looking at the character selection screen. They are different. The Caucasian faces use the old standard human faces while the newer “races” look more up to date.

Are you trying to say that newer things in wow look better than older things

Evreything is the same except I made the second picture have a lighter skin color as you can see it looks like it was made in a much earlier part of the game

This is probably a better way to phrase it.

They don’t. They are similar but some of the facial details are lost with different skin tones. And the white faces cant have scars while the other two can. For some reason, they could not do human scars the same way they did them for other races…like Night Elves

face’s “race” and “color” are separate sliders.

There are asian faces?

There are actually. Tbh I use them and lighter skin tones due to what op said.
The new skin tones flat have better details lol.

Face 31 with skin tone 3 is amazing

Because it was. The original model updates (which include the current “white human” faces) came with Warlords of Draenor, which was like 6 years before the customization update at the start of Shadowlands.

i will check that out later, ty.

Male or female

But then how do you drum up artificial conflict?

Blizzard laziness. Before there were no Asian or Black faces Blizzard had to add them and didn’t update the white faces to match. There is no racist meaning if that’s what you were fishing for.

Female! 10 char

First image looks like before work, the second after coming home from work.

I’m a Right Wing Paleo-Conservative. But even I know it is likely due to lack of priority attention. So please keep the political bait to a minimum folks.

To the OP: It likely is along the same reasons certain helmet models remove facial hair on my male humans, or why my NE pauldrons are oversized. I think I heard people say they JUST got around to fixing some of the issues Orcs had with their ill-fitted armor. I’m unlikely to get a fix to Plate helmets and pauldrons anytime soon, and you should expect much the same with older model faces.

As hectic and crazy as Blizz devs have to be right now with all that is going on, I’m surprised they’re doing as much as they are.

It’s because they went into customization expansion without any kind of plan, so some races like Worgen and Humans got screwed when it came to scar options being separate from face options.

They also apparently refuse to add any more scar options for any other races, too. NONE of the races past Shadowlands launch have received any scar options. Even the Dracthyr aren’t getting scar options.

Scar options must be something that is extremely hard to pull off in WoW’s engine for whatever reason.

Also, they never added the eye shape options for Humans. They did it for Nightborne already, so it would be nice if Humans could get that kind of customization as well.
