How come Master Blacksmith can’t repair?

I mean it’s kinda silly that a profession we have spend much time and gold to learn we can’t even fix our own stuff??? Let alone be able to fix items via trade?

It would be very slow to do so it would not be time effective for players but it would maybe save some wiped out players from having to port/repair/summon? Could be a way to make gold for us smiths?

buy an epic pattern, use your nethers to craft it.

sell it.

Yes so? That’s not what I am saying here? It’s not that I want to make gold it’s that we are blacksmiths that can’t fix? It’s silly. The gold making was just a side note…

aint gonna happen in tbc classic

cool idea though

Ya would have been cool 15 years ago lol

So if smiths can repair plate and chain, then LWs can repair leather, and Tailors can repair cloth to maintain crafting profession benefit balance too right?

Lol, it’s rather interesting indeed.

But wait, my character who’s got Eng can drop an NPC that’s both a vendor and repair items.

He’s too busy making stuff and training people to bother with repairs.

Because ‘gold sink’. I’ve probably dropped at least 2k gold on repairs alone. Which doesn’t seem like a lot, but then factor in I’ve only earned about 20k in the lifetime of playing on the Classic Project.

I think the OP means to repair ‘free of charge’.
