I have been playing BGB for a while now. Got up to 1643 and now i am bouncing in the mid 1500s. I CAN’T get on teams that play the objective. My win/loss is 30/72. I can’t get out of stupid. My biggest streak is THREE! How are we suppose to get elite if we are constantly put on teams that are willingly throwing the game?! It is completely unfair to us players that know how to play properly and want to be on teams that play properly. This needs to be addressed. Even if we lose we shouldn’t have to suffer because of people not playing properly or ignoring strategies. How can we get out of this?

I do my best to explain to folks what to do, and remain calm.
If you rage, it’s basically a done deal lol.
Nobody listens to someone that yells, would you? People just will shut down.
So, gotta play it cool. It doesn’t work out all the time, but I think I’m starting to see some good results.

I do play it cool. But the vile toxicity that happens when you try to explain strategies is unbelievable. Statistically speaking i shouldn’t be loosing every other match i play. I see so many people with amazing ratings in BGB and with my experience I can’t help but wonder how? I may be ranting, but that doesn’t mean I’m not wrong. Something is very wrong with matchmaking.

If you have to explain strategies and win conditions while in a BG, chances are that you have already lost. Your best option is to duo queue to get out of the basement.

While this isn’t what you want to hear… stop blaming them and work on improving your own gameplay. As the others have said, zero negativity towards your team or you just sabotage yourself.
Just casually perusing your account and you look like a relative beginner in pvp. You may just need to accept that you are where you are and keep on grinding.

Ive played pvp on and off since before BC. Its not my favorite mode to play but im still competent enough to understand how to play the objective. I’m nowhere near new to pvp. I may be more casual, but I am NO stranger to pvp. It really isn’t a very complex thing. I know that this new expansion makes more people to want to play pvp but the amount of bad games i get into is staggering. Im whining and complaining, i know. Every game i win or lose makes me a better player so i would like to get on a good streak for a change. Lol ya know what i mean?
This is the problem I think Blizz/us overlooked.
Random bgs - complete chaos, no one plays objectives and it’s a mess anyway so it’s fine.
Rated bgs - you form a group, takes ages, sweaty people, but you all DO play objectives… ideally
Blitz in DF - I felt like this was actually decent. You get some that play objectives but some just want to fight.
Blitz rated in TWW - feels bad when people don’t play objectives and you just keep losing games if you get into those groups
Solo Shuffle - Easy. Objective is just kill someone. No extra instructions.

Yeah i get it. and not trying to be a jerk or anything, but i think you realize that. Just keep in mind that as you try to exit into the higher tiers of pvp, which account for a much much lower % of the player base (you can look up % by mmr bracket), the players get very, very good. WoW pvp has a super long term dedicated player base, and is kinda like a fighting game where practiced players just obliterate people without years of practice
I’d have to respectfully disagree. Team fights in bgs are off the charts on how dynamic they are, with effectively infinite possible combinations of decisions / interactions between the players. Nobody comes close to playing them perfectly.

Play a rogue instead of useless warrior and duo queue with a good FC healer.
I am unironically 0-10 of Twin Peaks because no one wants to FC on my team and enemy always has a sweat dragon, dh, mw.
In those games I literally have 0 impact as an arms war.
The problem is…i want the elite set for my warrior
i have yet to see this happen all of my groups have been calm n chill or dont talk .
Oh, man. The amount of disgusting behaviors that ive seen with people arguing over the stupidest things. They are just vile towards each other. Its like 2 out of three games.

IME the more, uh. forcefully one makes tactical suggestions, the more likely folks seem to be to do the opposite.
I can’t help but think it’s coming down to delivery.
My experience in BGB in the first 2 seasons was the first couple weeks were rough then too. It’s a lot worse because the population exploded.
My Q times were 8 to 10 minutes during the times I usually play, very consistently over 2 seasons.
I am getting 4 and 5 minute Qs now playing at the same time of day.
And in the end, IMO it all comes down to ‘I want it to be more easy’

i’m like 12-47 on my MW monk it’s terrible
very demoralizing when every game is a loss
makes me want to unsub tbh
was really looking forward to this game mode, but something feels off
I hit 1925 on my spriest, 1775 on rogue with 50/50 win loss, but for some reason this third monk toon is stuck in 1300 hell
I thought the whole point of Blitz was to solo Q. Didn’t y’all want this? Now those very people who loathe premades are telling you to duo queue.
